Must be some good dank down in Athens right now.

I don't even know why charging people with Marijuana is still a crime. But we can talk about that another time, I gotta roll something up in the mean time

In two seasons he’s had 15 tkls, 1 TFL, and 1 sack

He's also behind talented players as Kirby brings in top 3 classes yearly. He has a big loss for ND and would be in rotation when Okwara and Hayes needed breaks. Who knows maybe he's better then Dalein? He would have been a massive upgrade of Ademiloa and whoever else is trying to play drop behind Okwara and Hayes. After they both leave this year it's Bradley Beal's job. So you can bring up his stats over the last two seasons it doesn't change that he would have been an upgrade over the guys we brought in.

That is highly debatable.

Beal has shown nothing so far that would put him ahead of Jamir Jones or even Justin Ademilola. He hasn't been used outside of what amounts to garbage time at UGA.

And UGA didn't exactly have stellar edge play last year either (dead last in the SEC in pressures and only had 1 player with more than 3 sacks on the year), so he had an opportunity to stand out, but didn't.

He's just entering his junior season, so who knows? He may stand out, but this doesn't bode well for him.

What information do you have that says he’s a better collegiate player than anybody you named? He’s going into his Junior year and he’s being recruited over by younger guys. He’s the upperclassmen that should be building to his starting spot and it doesn’t look like that’s happening. So.......maybe he was just overrated. Wouldn’t be the first time. Remember Andrew Williams. He was another cant miss “edge rusher” who did very little at DT, at Auburn, lol.

Time to let go of the HS ratings.

There's a million reasons why a player might fail to live up to expectations at any given school. If Beal ended up at ND, his career might have turned out completely differently. And UGA recruits at an elite level. They aren't recruiting "over" him, they just have the ability to go out and land 5* DL.

Color me surprised, I really thought he'd be the next big thing. His HS tape was elite IMO.

Yep, he was one of many ‘must get’ pass rushers that ND could never sign. There’s obviously more but the other one that sticks out was Andrew Williams from Isaac Rochell’s former HS. Somehow ND football managed to survive and some would say thrived since those recruitments. Crazy
