This is one HUGE kid. Has good tools too. Pretty good feet and darned good technique. Has a massive punch, I love it.

when is the "stretch run" thread for 2017 recruiting class gonna go up/be updated?

i'm so out of the loop this year on what's happening.

whose our stretch 4/5* targets?
we worried about any decommits?
any guys were in on announcing at AA/UA games?

I love that he's an early enrollee. The future looks really bright at OL, DB and QB. I honestly think we have the talent to compete for a playoff spot in the coming years. Banks, Hainsey, Lugg, Gibbons, Eichenberg, Boudreaux and Kramer all with 4 years of eligibility. Gotta love it. Banks is NFL tackle size right now.

I think the closest to 4/5* we have is Brock Wright and Hainsey. Neither will end up 5* but both are darned good players. The only worry regarding possible decommiting in my opinion would be CB Elijah Hicks but a lot of talk is stating that he's solid. WR Oliver Martin (said to be 50/50 ND/Iowa) and WR Jamire Calvin (Nebraska, ND) are both announcing at AA. Paschal and Simmons are committing previous to the AA game I believe and we have solid shots with both of them.

Love this pickup, Let him redshirt for a year then slide in at tackle. Any chance this kid gets a chance on defense?

After watching his highlight film and seeing him bury RB's for losses over and over, I kinda wondered the same. I'm quite certain he's a lock at LT considering #1. He has a prototype LT body #2. HH has been recruiting him hard #3. We really do need tackles. Kraemer, Boudreaux, Gibbons are all inside guys and it seems that Hainsey projects as a guard with his great pulling skills (although myself and others have made the argument that he may start out at guard to see the field then slide to Tackle as he excelled there at IMG against top flight DE's and has the long arms). That only leaves Lugg and Eichenberg.

GO IRISH!!!!! OLU!!!!!!

This was an extremely necessary addition. We really needed another OT in this class. This positive recruiting momentum is... interesting...

BK's pitch was "Hey I'm getting shitcanned after we lose to Temple next year. I will have zero responsibility for that loss, but you'll get to play for a better coach a year from now!"

Dude, your negativity is getting tiring. We just landed a top 247 6'7. 315 lb OT from California. Let us enjoy it without your poopy pants comments.

When your graduating class at ND witnessed the most losses in a 4 year period, come talk to me. Wizards understands. He was there too.

And, the last time I checked, my pants are clean thank you very much.

great pick up for ND, this kid will be good. he will make for a good road grader inside the 10 yardline, that's if BK isn't trying to pass.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I actually found myself thinking he could be one hell of a NT, when I watched his highlights last night. Imagine Ewell and Banks lined up on the inside next to each other, whoa, that would be a tough duo to run on.

With that said, HH knows what he's doing and we need OT's as well.

I'm having flashbacks of Mount Cody
