I'm not sure ND needs him but I'll never say no to a kid of his caliber (sorry Van... calibre), just means they have the luxury of moving another kid inside like ND is fond of doing.

Since it's on December 9th, I'm predicting his commitment will be broadcast on periscope at ND's banquet. Not really, I have no idea where he's going.

It's a nice class but I don't think there is any difference from D on day one. So I'm curious on why you think we are in great shape moving forward. just a typical class since 20013

For starters, we're looking at returning 55 of 61 players with 43 having at least 2 years of eligibility. Our recruiting class is fairly well rounded except we could use another solid DL and some help at DB. I like the three OL we have verballed. Looks like we are going to return 4/5 starters on our OL as well. We have 2 stud TE's coming. Our RB situation looks good next year with Adams/Dex/Tony so I think Holmes will be the perfect compliment to that. All three LB's verballed look very promising (not to mention our '18 LB's). I think Darnell Ewell has a shot at helping us at DT as a freshman. He's certainly ready physically as he has an NFL body. Adebo looks to be solid and Robertson and Hicks should certainly help our Safety situation going forward. What can I say? Just my opinion. I like what we have. We could use another solid WR commit as Pouncey is our only true Wide Receiver verballed so far (I think he could be great with a redshirt)

I'd bet that Banks doesn't come here if we change coaches now either.

Big in home visit today with HH per 247. ND, Michigan, UCLA and ASU are in it. Only one CB pick in from a year ago to USC. ND and Michigan feel confident and people from his camp have reportedly said they see him going to the Mid-West although no one seems to know much. Banks is committing in 2 days.

No one knows what this kid is going to do. He is supposed to commit very soon though so all the speculation can stop. We really could use him.

Michigan "insiders" have no idea.

Typically not a good sign when it comes to Michigan recruiting.

My guess is he stays in Cali or ND. Not expecting him to pick Michigan.

highly doubt he goes to ucla....he just met jim mora this week(although he is better off that way)

sounds like HH will win this one

I wonder how much of this is BK getting off his ass and actually doing some recruiting now that he doesnt have a bowl game to pretend to be busy with.

247 did state that their west cost source says it's 1. UM 2. UCLA 3. ND.

However, if you follow the visits by Banks and coaches of the respective colleges, all signs point to ND.

So, tomorrow will be very interesting.

Yes! Banks, Lugg, Hainsey and Gibbons (grossly underrated) would be a very nice haul to go along with last years crop of Kraemer, Boudreaux and Eichenberg would set us up QUITE nicely.

I doubt it. He hasn't visited UCLA and just had his first in Hines visit this week. The only thing UCLA has goin is it's close to home. I have a hunch he picks ND tomorrow. We'll find out tomorrow at noon West coast time!

yeah Michigan sources are now saying either ND or Michigan.

I have no idea. I'm going to guess ND. They visited him this week, Michigan didn't.
