It's supposed to snow like hell later this weekend. Starting Saturday night I believe.

Does anyone feel we have any chance with this kid? I don't know much about him. My guess is that he's just coming for the free trip but could possibly fall in love with it. But who knows....Would be great to land him especially if Granam goes to Nebraska and or Hicks flips.

I do. If he wanted a free trip, he could be at Miami, Florida, FSU, LSU, Texas or one of the 4 playoff teams watching them prep for the NC. There's a legit reason he's here.

I just hope Lyght and Burris can talk about being NFL millionaires. As much as I like Donte Williams, he can only bullsh!t bout that.

he has a GREAT relationship w/ denbrock and has maintained that he has high interest in ND....why else come for a NON game weekend official if NOT interested...he knows the minute he sets foot on the campus he is one of the most explosive and dynamic players there and would contribute early

Wow! Right on! Thats great news. Thanks man. Reps for you. Let's hope he enjoys himself this weekend. I wonder who is hosting him or if he's staying off campus.

My first time watching his film. Dynamic, fluid runner. Excellent at all the positions he plays. Reminds me of CJ Holmes at RB, Hunter Jr. at WR and a better corner than anyone we have on our current roster I'd say. It's hard for me to say which position I'd put him at if I were Kelly but I really like him @ X WR. Obviously he'd be a great corner for us and definitely would be a solid KR/PR. This kid would be a dynamic piece for us to add. FINGERS CROSSED

GO IRISH!!

Johnson's senior highlights. Not going out, too far, on the limb when I say he's arguably the best athlete in the entire country. He's a game changer. I'll be interested to see where this kid ends up, position wise, regardless of whether he comes to ND or not.

Senior Year Highlights - Greg Johnson highlights - Hudl

With the young defensive talent we have at DB I'd put Johnson on offense and get the ball in his hands.

I'd put him at safety/nickel for sure. We need athletes on defense more than one year in a row.

There is absolutely no need for another person to throw to 4 times a game. Especially if we get Calvin.

My thoughts exactly. We could really use him at X as I've been thinking/posting, all we have there is Stepherson and McKinley. He could possibly play some slot and with his ball carrying skills, could be dangerous on jet sweeps. Interesting note, Denbrock is his recruiter and they have a great relationship...could be grooming him as a WR.

The style of their play and their versatility make that comparison a good one but Greg Johnson does it at 190+. Adoree was a track star in pads at Serra. 3 years at SC and he's still smaller than GJ.

We already have four quality corners without counting incoming freshman. Johnson's not a safety. We have some good receivers but no one to match his playmaking ability. Not even close.

Yea, sounds like he just didn't like it. Bro committed to USC over the weekend, I'd be surprised if he didn't end up there as well.

He didn't like Notre Dame. Or the weather was just not his cup of tea and eliminated us?

Too cold for ya? Good luck playing playoff football in the NFL if you're ever given the opportunity!

Been saying it for 30 years. ND football is by far and away the most NFL like program you can go to to prepare for Sundays. Play in all kinds of weather, travel cross country frequently and have a mic shoved in your face every time you turn around. No better training possible.

I'm sure he won't mind it. Making millions to play in the snow and having to attend class in freezing temps is a little different.

Specifically the travel and media, I would think we could sell this even more. Because it's very true.

Also, it seems like we're playing in 1 or 2 NFL stadiums a year
