Quite a bit of talk at 247 from USC posters that, USC has informed him their plan is to start him out at DE 5 technique.

There were a couple USC reporters on Rivals who got absolutely killed by some of their customers a month ago for saying Hayes was a possibility to flip late on. They’re hearing the same things our reporters are hearing, and they told the truth about it. But Hayes is so emphatic with his comments about his love for USC that it makes fans believe that he is 1000000% committed to them. But in fact, he is not only covering his bases behind the scenes, he’s initiating some of the contact himself. It’s tough for the ndsean’s of the world to believe, but there are things behind the scenes that those types of fans just refuse to see or believe, even if it’s right in front of them.

We'll end up with at least 20 IMO, so we have way more than 2-3 spots available, as witnessed by all the recruits they keep hosting.

And like panda said – there is most definitely room at the inn for Hayes, should he decide to flip.

certainly helps that he had to move back...makes the breakup that much easier IF it were to happen

he has been listed as a POTENTIAL flip candidate for quite a long time, not anything that i am aware of regarding that

The USC boards have been talking about for awhile now. They believe that its actually something he wants to do but as we're coming to see, I think Daelin is pretty good about telling people what they want to hear or at least what he wants them to hear.

andrew at rivals states---gilmore has a good relationship w/ his head coach...gilmore is taking a reserved approach and hasn't been hounding him to visit which according to multiple sources has been a good thing...feels he will visit but just won't announce anything stating it though regarding an official visit

Per TV, Loy thinks there is a pretty good chance that Notre Dame can flip Hayes and one of Wiltfong's sources feels good about ND's position in his recruitment.

A 10+ win season could definitely flip this kid

That would be a huge commitment because he could be the defensive end we really need.

Something of note, Daelin's mother moved back to Michigan. So both parents are in Michigan and no family remains in Cali.
