Wiki must not be up to date. It showed there he was active as of the Super Bowl, but ESPN's site has Book on the Practice Squad for the Eagles. Tanner McKee from Stanford is their 3rd stringer, while former Steeler Kenny Pickett is their 2nd string QB.

More importantly is the NFL players pension. If his 4 seasons qualify him, he'll get at least $3k a month for life starting at age 55. Each extra year of service is an extra 800ish a month

I know he hasn't been on an active roster throughout all four seasons. Not sure how the pension works.
