So he basically (maybe) gets one free weekend to take an OV during the season and he's going to opt for ND?
I assume he's not in the "one LB" category that Kirkland, et al. are in. If ND wants to get in on John Curtis then shutting the door on recruits mid-season is probably going to kill that notion given their recruiting restrictions.

I agree getting into John Curtis would be huge. Besides, I thought Wallace was a DE anyway? I really do hope he is in the class come February and a gist here could help make that happen!

Could he be the edge rusher for this class? I'm not buying that we flip Mekhi, and I've seen a lot of articles say we need a guy who can rush the passer.

Me too, and I am just as thrilled with us landing Adams as well. Lets get back to the Holtz days where we had like nine stud RB's and run it down everyone's throat. I know that will never happen, but it would be sweet if it did.

My thoughts exactly. Kelly will be able to play any offensive style he chooses with the way he's recruiting. If we can keep this momentum through two full seasons, look out.
I can't imagine facing a team that runs empty spread, hurry-up offense then transforms to 8 linemen, ground and pound football. Very difficult to game plan against that.

I really like Harrison. Great size and length for a S prospect. Very high on him but pretty unsure about sincere interest.

Interesting - Farrar has not yet locked in his ND visit for next weekened.
Question - Does BVG do any recruiting? I can't think of one time I've read an update where he's gone to see anyone. Don't tell me we have another one of those coaches on our hands.

He's been on the road some but definitely hasn't had the impact that I thought he would in year 1. Something that I've been pretty adamant about that needs to change for an 8 win team is to get the DC and OC out recruiting more.

I couldn't agree more, especially at this time of year.
During the season I suppose you could convince me that they are busy working on gameplans, practices, etc. But there is no excuse for them not being on the road as much as possible 2 weeks before signing day.
