Jamabo said he is still considering the following schools: Arizona State, Texas A&M, Baylor, Notre Dame, UCLA and Oregon. He says the Irish currently have a slight edge over the others after his recent official visit to South Bend, Ind. But Jamabo will visit other schools and probably won’t announce his decision until after the regular season, though he would like to do it before National Signing Day on Feb. 4.

His UCLA OV is this weekend so I'm sure IE will get some updates on how it goes. Loy believes that he will most likely take a local visit to Texas A&M shortly after this, not sure if OV or not, then make his decision towards the end of October. That's the plan for now. Really hope that Oregon mud stomps UCLA and demoralizes them. 2 losses in the PAC 12, for now, will take them out of the playoff talk.

- side note, I really hate Oregon. This is saying something.

Sorry but Brian Kelly doesn't like running the ball. Twice today it was 3rd and short and we go empty. It was first and goal on the two las week and we run three straight pass plays. Hesitand still can't figure out a good run scheme for this team. With our O line( 2 of the 5 starters) we should we able to just pound teams on the ground. Yet we don't and it's just incredibly frustrating to watch.

I agree that Kelly needs to call more running plays early in the game, but I felt that he was trying to get Golson in sync today unlike previous weeks where he didn't seem to have faith. The end of the game was a good example of his faith in the running game.

We gave Cierre & Jonas their carries in 2011. Same goes with Theo & Cierre in 2012.

43 total carries tonight, 25 coming from the RBs. In a shootout, which believe it or not, was what today's game was, you tend to pass more than run. Less balance in the play calling.

If we were run heavy from the start, don't know if it's a shootout in the first place.

We do implement RBs in our passing game. They may not lead the team in receiving, but they are effective in the screen game.

The inconsistency with our OL in run game prevents us from being a run heavy team.

Kelly went with what has worked this season. Albeit Everett turning the ball over doesn't help, the game plan has been effective.
