Would love, LOVE, LOVE this pick up. And yes, primarily because of the hair.
I'm gonna be the difference in opinion. He reminds me of a slower GAIII.

And of course he does not run standing up and down, does not have a twin, does have cornrows, does have decent hands, and is from Tx as opposed to Cali. Other than that.
They're dreads, not cornrows.
So he'll be a great safety prospect!
I certainly don't see it. I've never seen a RB with decent size go down so easily as GAIII, and I think this kid runs with violence.
And IMO that's the difference between 5-star and high 4-star.
Same stuff that we already know.
Jake Brown putting in the work.
Runs pretty upright to me (not nearly as tall as GAIII), and "decent" isn't a praise, GAIII definitely had those (you must have another video to watch, because I didn't see alot of passes thrown to this kid).
I also noticed that he is a one cut runner and gets taken down a lot by a single tackler.
Not sure how cornrows, a twin and location factor in here. But ok?
You and I were watching different tapes. This kid was slick in the tape I watched for getting down through the hole and the contact, and then extending himself for the vision in the open field. AND, I didn't see him receive one decent blow from a defender for being out of position.

After three plays I already find this comparison ridiculous. He is so much shiftier than GAIII that I'm not quite sure how you can even be reminded of GAIII. Pad level? I guess. He is a very different runner
Not really. Watch the tape again and tell me if you still believe he is a one cut running back
Watched it a few times to even make sure this was the comparison I wanted to make. Granted he doesn't have an awkward cut like GAIII did, I couldn't get past the fact that in his "highlight" video, he went down ALOT by a single tackler. His style is alot like GAIII in that he makes one cut and uses his speed to get by. The only difference is that he lacks that GAIII gear. I don't find my opinion ridiculous at all and to say he is a very different runner can be considered ridiculous as well. Obviously my opinion is not a popular one, but I'm not going to pretend to love this kid because of his high rating.
If he turns out to be a game-breaker back at the next level then obviously I was wrong, I just don't see it.

Kid doesn't have a offer from every school in the country for no reason.

Not digging on you Anarin, but you do realize that everyone else sees something totally different than you do, don't you? lol
Just watched GA III's senior year highlight tape again and was actually reminded of why everyone was excited about him coming out of high school. He shows a gear that no one else has and also breaks some tackles to turn runs into big gains. That being said I think the biggest different between GA III and RJ II is that Atkinson seems to run in a more winding pattern and his cuts appear to be more of an "S" style. Jones on the other hand appears to be able to make more decisive cuts, almost like a "Z". Idk if that makes sense to anyone else just my personal opinion
