So I still haven't watched tape of him, I'm actually going to do that right now, but BGI has really been talking this kid up. Coaches that have played against him have raved about him.

I doubt Tranquil is going to be in any position to contribute in the first half of the season. I do believe Onwualu is going to be in that group. Maybe Butler is a candidate to move (he's a zone corner with size not really suited to the current style of play).

He's very good, I'd love to have him and Edwards + Jones + a RB to close this class. We aren't getting an impact DL or that'd be the top of my list.

I mean I really hope he comes back, but you don't come back from that injury that easily. I've seen this story before with Carrico/ Springmann/Roberson/etc. We won't need to do that most likely anyway because with transfers and the usual academic fraud that happens we can expect more spots too open up.

Yea, I came away very impressed. I agree that 2 S's is the right way to go. We need secondary help and if no CB's are coming then go with 2 S's.

Agree about Drew. Think it would be best for him to sit out all next year.
Most likely Baratti is done. I do agree with possibly moving Butler to safety. But that would leave us real thin on experienced corners.

Watched some of the tape that rivals has on him. He was very impressive in coverage at the RCS (Rivals Camp Series) Columbus as well as OSU's Friday Night Lights. His performance earned him DB MVP honors at the RCS camp. I'm really excited to get him on campus for the banquet.

Yes. He's been playing most of the year from what I recall. Not just on special teams either. I've seen him on D too. Not often but he's been out there.
Yes, 3 months ago when he played against Rice on Opening Day. He played in all the games except UM and SU.

Even I can't understand this tweet. Was he on campus this weekend? Or is he officially and for sure visiting for the banquet? Haven't seen jack on twitter about this Kinnel guy.

Per Loy, one source close to the situation is saying this is a ND/Mich. battle with the deciding factor being who Michigan brings in as a HC and who, if any, of the current staff members are retained.
Dave Berk at Scout also mentioned a month or 2 ago if things went bad for Michigan then ND would be a team to really watch. He felt ND could make a move, hopefully ND wins out.
