Don't forget how much getting a JC kid on the roster could help future recruiting.
Mekhi looks like a hard pull he is in love with all that Alabama is like most of these kids are. Bo Wallace would be a good pick up especially in a BVG defense. Plus Wiltfong gave his seal of approval its a done deal.
In Wiltfong i trust
Sorry, I just meant that when Wiltfong makes a crystal ball prediction it is spot on. However he did not make a selection for Brandon Wimbush.
As of right now Bo isn't an every down player and neither is Kolin Hill, look at the impact he's been able to make. Now I don't see Wallace doing that next year but I love him off the edge. Especially with as much is BVG has been playing 3-4. I like this kid standing up rushing the passer until he fills out some more. No doubt he's a project but a good project to have.
-In a rivals article this morning he notes that he plans to take all OV's and his top 5 isn't set. Basically he's waiting on LSU. Before reading that article I thought there was a chance he'd commit this weekend but after reading the article I'm less confident. And even if he does, it sounds like he'll be taking visits. Which is never a good thing.
What is the weather going to be in SB this weekend for Bo? Last weekend didn't help us trying to lure ESB from Cali. Warm and sunny with kick ass autumn colors would help with this stud from the south.
Not sure he really cares about weather or he doesn't know his geography. He mentioned that he's really starting to like Minnesota.
Sunny and 58.
I guarantee you having a southern recruit visit during a miserably wet or cold weekend does NOT help our chances. I get the fact if he ever wants to play in the NFL it better not affect him. The difference right now is he gets to pick his college destination. You can't tell me a miserable weekend like the one we had last weekend does us any good with players from warm southern climates... I would always push for a southern recruit to visit SB in September for a night game or the first couple of games in October.
Good enough! Thank you.
I lived in Florida for three years and I'd choose South Bend weather every single day and twice on Sundays.I guarantee you having a southern recruit visit during a miserably wet or cold weekend does NOT help our chances. Let me add that I'm not saying weather doesn't matter at all. I was just pointing out for some recruits it means very little. Either we believe that Wallace has no idea what the weather in Minnesota is like in the winter or we believe he does and is just ok with it. I'll side with the later.
What's with his love for MN? Is he considering them for college, or does he visit there for the heck of it?
FWIW, winter in SB >>> winter in MN. It's significantly different.
