He has as much chance of that happening as being the best Chinese coach in football. Some things aren't meant to be, Hairball.

Haha, I love it. Day one and already making outlandish claims to recruits. Don't waste anytime.

That's his job, we'd all do the same. Our job as IT guys is to call him out with equal passion. He's a tool and I'll gladly do it. I now HATE ND no longer plays M. Hairball is a guy I could waste countless hours on the internet talking crap about. Hated him when he was a Bear... and I'm a Bears fan. Da Couch should have done us all a favor and broke his neck when he got lippy in the 80's.

Tight End U when they haven't put a single decent TE into the league in a decade+. Got it.

Michigan is all hype, no substance right now. But they're gonna kill it in recruiting this spring/summer because hype sells in the offseason.

Who cares what Michigan did in the past. Harbaugh always used TEs well at stanford. That's all that matters.

Harbaugh also had the 30th worst passing game in the NFl this year. TE Vernon Davis was literally non existent for games. He accumulated roughly 0.5 catch per game. Not exactly setting the world on fire.

But to be fair his TE's at Stanford were good.

Yea, with Andrew Luck as the QB. He could go down as one of the best talents to ever play football. I get why he's doing and don't really care, the guys a tool and I'll forever think so.

Yeah, TE was featured heavily at Stanford. But that's a complicated byproduct of Luck's play calling/progressions and the lack of talent at WR. Also, Ertz and Fleener both did much better AFTER Harbaugh left.

Harbaugh basically killed Vernon Davis' career in San Fran. In the two years preceding Harbaugh, Davis averaged 111 targets, 940 yards and 10 TDs a season. In the four seasons under Harbaugh, Davis averaged 72.5 targets (35% decrease), 609 yards (35% decrease), and 6.5 TDs (35% decrease).

So across the board, Vernon Davis decreased in utilization and output by 35% under Harbaugh. Went from Hall of Fame numbers to not even Pro Bowl level. He had one very good season under Harbaugh in 2013 because Crabtree was out with injury for the majority of the season, but when he's had even mediocre WRs Harbaugh has opted to not scheme for the TE in favor of WRs... even when his TE is All-Pro caliber.

Glad u mentioned Luck, lax.

The harbaugh shit pissess me off. No doubt he knows football, and can build/start a solid structure for a good program/organization.

But....He had Andrew Luck. THEN, he landed a great job for a team that was ALREADY collecting a good defense and HAD/HAS a very good NFL back (Gore).

He is going to help scUM A LOT. But OSU is going to rule the B1G as long as DURBP is there.

Stats are stats, they can be manipulated to for any story you'd like... There's a huge difference between having Alex Smith throwing you the ball and Kaepernick. Look at ND - Ben Koyack had to have the least productive season as a ND TE in years, does that mean BKs strategy is more WR oriented?

P.s I get the counter arguments, I'm just pointing out a flaw

I get where you're coming from, but it's tough considering guys who change year-to-year versus the same dude over many years. Like there was a drop off from Eifert to Koyack... why? Could be a lot of reasons, like you said.

There is little to no doubt that Harbaugh neglected to feature an All-Pro TE in San Francisco. All of his stats dramatically dropped off across the board.

His best year with Harbaugh -- by far -- was with Kaeprnick last year, too. So it's not about QB it's about design and targets.

Harbaugh used TE a lot at Stanford so I don't think this is an outlandish comment. Fleener and Ertz come to mind.

How funny would it be if Clark told Harbaugh thanks but no thanks. He can have him though if he wants him.

Yup. Not only are they going to get the usual early "bump" because it's a big school with a new coach, but it's gonna go up another notch because it's Harbaugh.

I keep expecting his thread to be bumped with an announcement that he's giving up football to pursue a career in basketball, or recording contract or, at long last, become famous for photographing Big Foot........then attempting to kickstart a failed sitcom starring himself and said sasquatch.

This guy has the potential to keep on giving for years to come.
