Take all three of Luatua, Weishar, and Schultz if possible. Weishar has injury history, Luatua can play both sides. Factor in no Welch next year, then no Niklas or Koyak after 2014. Also, say all you want about Luatua being locked in at TE. I remember Anthony Barr wanting to play RB in college and we all see how that worked out. Once he's signed up things can change quickly.

Don't pull that card dude. The Luatua family will suddenly have a grandmother fall ill and he won't have a choice but to transfer.

I feel like I really missed an opportunity. Both sets of my grandparents divorced and remarried before I was born. That means four grandmas. The possibilities are literally endless.

I created the attached spreadsheet which details how many signees were accepted by respective schools in the last 6 years. I included the top 60 programs as identified by total recruiting points. As you can see, in the last 5 years, the SEC represents 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12th schools in ranking of the most signees.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...R0TTlzZlE0VElwakZVNVBlOFE&usp=drive_web#gid=9

I appreciate your statistical analysis, I said something that was also accurate, but I think the offended party was not so much into "truth" as much as he/she was into the "calling out" part. But that is really cool what you did there.

How many guys did we have on scholarship this year? As in our whole team. With attrition and stuff included. Anybody know?

Do the numbers represent how many were signees and qualified ot just how many signed?

From all previous articles this kid really liked ND before making it to campus. I think we just made it very interesting.

And some experts on this board wouldn't take him...

I think the only team with a shot besides Stanford is ND, personally.

And if Luatua commits before Schultz, I wonder if that just cements him to the Cardinal and mitigates any potential decision.

I think the kid is a gamer. A competitor. I'd bet he goes to which school he likes the best.

Bottom line is we have great problems at TE.

Public Service Announcement
I got "called out" for making blanket statements about the SEC, so I think it is important to note that there are other conferences that also load up on talent they may or may not need, and that this type of behavior isn't just in the southeastern part of the United States. Apparently when making statements like this you need to list every school that has ever done anything resembling this behavior and not just default the conference most associated with this behavior.

I appreciate your statistical analysis, I said something that was also accurate, but I think the offended party was not so much into "truth" as much as he/she was into the "calling out" part. But that is really cool what you did there.

Solid job moving on.

Pretty amazing that there isn't a single 5 star TE this year. None the less, I hope he plans a long term return to South Bend.

I didn't think you could possible have a creepier avatar than your previous one, but you've out done yourself, lol.
