I'm honestly not worried or bothered by this after watching the way our D line has been so poorly developed other than dropping into zone coverage. His skills would have been wasted at ND.

I can't believe there are people spending time on an OSU player playing the "what if?" game.

Not much else to do when the program is in the shitter and OSU and Michigan are miles ahead of us for the forseeable future. This is the life of ND football fan.

I was never clear on if the ND LAX staff didn't want ND football stepping on their toes and coming after their guy, or if the ND Football staff didn't want Hubbard for some other reason.

Any way you slice it, it's ND shooting itself in the foot. Again.

I don't know how Diaco didn't give him an offer.

I mean he is 6'6 afterall. I thought that's what he wanted.
He already had Cats. Bobby probably figured "what's the point, I've already got 3/4 committed. No need to watch this Lax bro's tape"

Resurrecting this player thread because I found a recent article about his foundation following his 98 yard fumble recovery against the Ravens. Seems like a great person and fan favorite due to his local roots.

"Hubbard was drafted by the Bengals in 2018 out of Ohio State. After being a two-sport athlete at Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Hubbard turned down a lacrosse scholarship from Notre Dame to stay in his home state and play football as a Buckeye."
