Yes he goes to Gorman and yes he is Randall Cunningham's son

Steve Hare caught up with Gorman HC Tony Sanchez and said ND has some interest but its in its early stages. "RCII" didn't start last year. A lot of programs anxious to see him this year, loads of potential. Hare said Cunningham is aware that ND will be coming around this summer and fall.

Haha if he's "as good as his dad" then that means he's capable of playing at a 4x NFL All-Pro level... I think ever team in the country would take that.

Will be interesting to see how this develops.

Out of all the QBs we are recruiting. This is the one I want for this class.

I just feel it in my bones.

Haven't even watched tape yet.

EDIT: Now watching tape, stand by my gut feeling, think Marcus Mariota.

Everything about him points to him being BKs perfect QB match...

... except for the whole we don't know if he's good at throwing the ball yet.

Offers are going to flood in for this kid if he performs well their first couple games (the national portion of their schedule). Heard he has a pretty nice RB to take the load off him.

Hard to tell how well he throws. He kind of reminds me of Colin Kaepernick when he runs. Lanky but effective.

His release is too slow, but the staff loves Malik who also has a really slow release. He reminds me of Vince Young to be honest. Randall Cunningham's son throwing to David Robinson and Torri Hunter's sons. Weird.

I'd offer him. Assuming he can read a defense, if he can speed up that release this kid could be a super star.

Makes me feel old.

He's a very accomplished high jumper, 7 ft 2 inches personal best, and the ability to do track in college too is important to him. It's his niche that he isn't compared to and is better at next to his pops.

BTW, Gormans starting QB last year was :s::s::s::s: Arizona signee Anu Solomon

His tape is electric. Lock him and Starks up and close down Nevada.

Really like his athleticism and height. Definitely needs to pack on some weight but getting stronger and working with Kelly could help him clean up and repeat his throwing mechanics. Seems like a kid with a high ceiling - somewhat surprised his throwing motion is so bad given his father was an NFL QB for so may years...

Um, have you ever seen his dad throw? or even looked at his stats.

Crazy the kid has D1 offers and wasn't even the starter on his high school team last year.

If he has a high football IQ and solid GPA , I would give him a shot. If not i would pass(pun intended).

He can always be switched to WR is it doesn't work out. He's more athletic than Luke Massa.

If this is true he's likely going to have to be a WR. High jumpers are all extremely lean. For quarterbacks, the risk of injury at the weight he would have to maintain would be extremely high.

Anu is a stud. He will be a star in Rich Rod's system.

Cunningham was one of my all time favs. He was just so fun to watch and he produced on the field. If his son is anything like Randall, I'd take him in a heartbeat.
