@ISDUpdate: After visit to #NotreDame this weekend, 2014 MI DE Jhonny Williams (@Jhonny_willl) is down to #NotreDame #Missouri. Won't consider others.

Suck it scUM

He says that he is done with recruiting and is only considering Notre Dame and Mizzou. Wants to go through pros and cons and let everything sink in before any decision is made.

Loy said he heard Williams, Hayes, Trumbetti, Brent and Newsome were all talking about playing together at the next level. Have to feel good about Williams ending up switching to ND.

I thought it was interesting that he said he's being recruited as a CAT LB. I'd imagine the staff will seriously consider moulding him into a 3-4 DE as well, but I wonder if Williams committing would have any impact on Hill.

He will flip. Anytime a recruit adds a team into consideration while committed and stop all other recruiting, I assume they will flip.

When I watch this kids highlights I see Ishaq Williams. Maybe not quite as athletic but similar in terms of length and probably a better motor/more agressive. Hope we can steal him from Mizzou, sign Hill and Morgan while keeping Yeargrin.

I actually thought he looked more athletic than Ishaq did in high school.

Make sure you're watching his senior film. I accidentally watched his junior film (first page) and was unimpressed. I thought Williams looked much better in senior film.

Yeah the difference between the junior film and senior film is huge. The senior film shows some serious upside, as big as almost any kid in the class.

His film reminded me of a guy we recruited a couple of years ago, who ended up signing with Oregon. I'll have to look up his name.

Looks an ideal candidate to redshirt in his freshman year to gain strenght. Some Barkevious Mingo in his film and very similiar frame. Hope he flips but Missouri is having a huge year and they have a bright future.

I get the Mingo size comparison. But Mingo was a far superior prospect and honestly probably ran a 4.5

Add to the fact that they develop quite a few lower ranked players defensive players into first round draft picks.

DT Ziggy Hood (3 star), OLB Sean Weatherspoon (2 star), DE Aldon Smith (3 star) ...

They have DE Michael Sam (2 star) and DE Kony Ealy coming out this year who could both be picked in the first round

This stuff speaks volume to recruits.

So it sounds like we are recruiting him as a CAT, not a DE.

Is he open to DE? Or is that pretty much a given?
