If Bama really wants him that bad then he definitely is a top 100 player.

Weird how only Bama and the Big Florida 3 know about him.

I don't think that's it. I think no one else is bothering to try to compete because they know they don't have a shot.

Greenberry, Ferguson and Daniels. Plus so many options in the slot. Should help QB recruiting starting next year.

I love Ferguson's game and think he is going to be a player.

That said, Alabama is a pass first, second, and third offense. They rely on their defense to set the tone. Look at their QB situation, as soon as the in-state, dual threat 5-star QB was off the board (they seemed obligated to pursue him), they immediately signed a smart, 3-star game manager, with prototypical size, form a big-time winning high school program. They don't want the best QB, they want the best QB for their system.

Their interest in Justin says to me that they think he is a very physically and mentally tough receiver with some speed. They see a guy that works in their system. Watching Floyd block this year shows what a boundary receiver can do in the run game. I think Kelly will make him into more and am psyched to have him.

I think you mean that Alabama is a run first, second and pass third offense

Saying that they only go after the best and more polished off recievers. Julio Jones is polished Darius Hanks is physical and polished this Carter kid they got who is a freshman is polished it tells me that Justin could play quickly if needed and could emphasis could have quiet an impact

True, but Marquis Mays wasn't polished. He was more of the raw athlete type when he came in.

Saying that they only go after the best and more polished off recievers. . .

I did not say that, or that they "only" go for anyone. What I said is that Alabama wants big, fast, physical, coachable WRs who fit in their program. Because that is what they want, that is what an Alabama offer tells me about a player (unless you are some freak 5-star like Julio who could have put up much, much bigger numbers at another school, IMHO). It does not tell me the kid is going to be a Top 100 player, although he could be!

You may be right that they look for polished kids, but they are certianly not looking for WRs who can take over games as Freshman, unless they are trying to keep another school from getting him. Saban simply doesn't play that way.

A non-5 star WR getting an Alabama offer is different than a WR getting a Oklahoma, USC, FSU, LSU, offer. They play differnt styles so the offers don't always overlap. If you get both, you may have multiple skills sets.

I think we want Justin to over-power CBs on the boundaries and in the endzone in single coverage and to set the edge. Its part of replacing Floyd. I personally think he's going to be a stud.

Next yea we WILL win the NC! Every coach that has won one, did it in their third year. Maybe it will be a Leahy run & we wim multiple

Are you drunk? Multiple championships? Your typing is messed up and you are sipping on seriously potent Kool-aid. I'd love for ND just to get to a damn BCS game again (and hopefully win one for once). We lose a TON on defense, we lose Michael Floyd, and our schedule is nasty. Our back-ups on defense have been sh!tty the last 2 fourth quarters. Love the enthusiasm, but man, the program still has a ways to go...
