My wife asked if I wanted to go out and I said that I wasn't feeling well so I could keep tabs on this. Its as if I was waiting for the lottery to hit. First I let work slip, next I ate at the computer, and then dogged my wife.

I'm luck she realizes how much of an idiot I am . Gotta love her... Hurry and commit! Just kidding, take your time.

Him and Justin Trattou will both be coming over with Martin in the back of Hunter's Escalade.

Mind you, Justin WILL NOT be playing DE in college. His hand will be OFF the ground, just like Urban promised, right? OLB for Trattou b/c Meyer wouldn't lie, right?

I don't care if we're not in the top 10, I believe the coaching staff can develop the players to their full potential.

This is what excites me the most about this class, the fact that that they were hand picked for 2main reasons. First the coaches fell they can develop these players into Titans on the field, and second they feel these guys will build an TEAM bond. Which I think we're already seeing.

He most certainly won't play at DT his freshman year, that would be outrageous. That would be something ND would do if he got there, they can't recruit defensive line players. But in Gainesville, Justin would surely be an OLB, and if he puts on a TON of weight, he could POSSIBLY grow into a DE.

I think it's very possible that BK and Diaco told him to sleep on it to be sure. They're probably telling him that they don't want him to rush it- both so that he'll feel generally more comfortable (and possibly cared for) and to be sure that this time it'll stick. Everyone needs to relax and trust that the coaching staff is doing its job.

My mistake, Alford is the lead man on Lynch and he's the one who Lynch has said has been like a father figure. I'm sure Diaco is involved, but BK and Alford are most likely leading the charge. Even if Diaco hasn't slept much... Ishaq and Lynch are investments that will pay huge dividends for our defense and his career.

Whatever the reason; Rivals, Scout, and ESPN are thankful for Mr. Lynch. How many more hits and subscriptions did he help sell? They would love to have a top flight player ND fans have a rooted interest in go through a recruitment like this every year. I do not think I could take it...

That's an incredibly thought provoking post.

I would like to think that it's the state of the program that's got us like this. I for one really believe that these pieces (Lynch,Ishaq,Tuitt) can turn ND around for good. Nothing screams dominance like a defense that inspires fear.

These kids when added to previous awesome gets like Teo and Nix are going to put future recruits on notice....The Irish are not to be looked over. We are going after the best and getting them.
