There is a chance the Irish see Houston in the Pinstripe Bowl. Keep that in mind.

Wow Lynch is extremely unimpressive to me right now. Seems disinterested and going through the motions. Just absolutely had no interest in pursuing a ball carrier in back side pursuit (ran right by him) and it allowed him to pick up an extra 5.

Looks to only care about trying to rush the passer on throwing plays. Besides that, he seemingly doesn't want to be involved in the game.

I'm baffled that he is still considered a 1st round pick. I have watched him play a couple times now and he looks not good, to say the least.

Greenberry is a stud. I was going to post his stats in his thread but its closed, and I didn't want to start some graduation rate/academics debate over there.

That being said, if all Greenberry cares about is going to the NFL as quickly as possible, he made the right call going to Houston. He can leave after next year and probably be a 2nd-5th rounder easily with his numbers.

He looks pretty lean but looks super fast when he gets after it, I saw a sack where he was called for a slight facemask penalty, definitely still can be disruptive to a QB

By the mouthing of the ref, "he called me a f'n something" shi t? But that wouldn't have made sense.

reminds me of Michael Crabtree's college career. Go to an offense where you will get the ball as much as possible - wins/championships dont matter

I see the point your making, but Texas Tech won a lot of big games, including beat then #1 Texas 39-33, with a last second touchdown by Crabtree in 2008. Texas Tech went 20-6 during Crabtree's career.

Yeah but it was a time when the Air Raid Offense wasnt as widely used as it is now and if you wanted the ball in your hands as a WR as much as possible you went to TTU to catch passes. TTU was exactly a world better not a bottom dweller when Crabtree committed there. In fact at the time it was the prospect of playing hoops there that drew him more than the football teams success.

Whoever drafts Lynch is an idiot. I would only try him out as a free agent, but any GM who picks him in the draft needs to be fired.

All the GMs have or will see what he did his freshman year at ND. He may not be that now, but they know what he can do. He won't get out of round 2.

I think any GM who doesn't pick him if he is available Round 5 or later is an idiot.

I agree. Thats where his value is right now. He has potential, but thats about it. Thats a 5th round pick - undrafted free agent area.

The mocks/rankings that have him higher are based on preseason hype (which most of the mocks/rankings are on at this point) and guys with no NFL sources (aka guys who actually watch games and tape).

No shot. Questionable character, bad/questionable motor, bad against the run and has been bad this year. Damontre Moore fell to the 3rd round and he had a great year in the SEC, because he was questionable vs the run. No chance Lynch goes before round 3.

He is still rated in the top 5 DL in the draft. Questionable character by who? Us because we don't like that he left. He hasn't been in legal trouble. There is no history of drug issues. Seems Clowney (no comparison other than the following) has the same questions as motor.

And Damontre Moore was a top 3 overall pick this time last year.

Questionable character based on the fact that he transferred to a lower competition. Thats not the best thing in the world in my mind.

Lots of people are down on Clowney for that reason. If he wasn't a once in a decade talent he wouldn't be as high as a pick as he is going to be also.
