This is the first real test for Alabama and I figure they win by around 14. LSU has no offense at all and I think the most they score is 6 points. I would love LSU to win this one but I see it as 17-3 Alabama.

I would like LSU to win, not just to give ND a bump in the rankings, but also to show that Alabama's human.

That said, it's good for the Tide to finally get a true test. They have one win against a top-25 team, and that was an overrated MSU.

I am so sick of hearing this. It simply wont happen. Their SoS is far less than ours. They are not going to pass an undefeated Irish team with a loss. They would have to be voted #1 by the human polls to overcome the computers. Not going to happen.

I'm really looking forward to watching this game this weekend. I think Alabama wins this one but not by much. It would be a nice surprise to see LSU get the big win, but I just dont see it.

6) It's in Death Valley. As well-coached as Bama is, this is an incredible environment and has made a difference, historically.

I wouldn't worry too much about LSU jumping us. Even if they did, I don't think they're beating Georgia in the SEC championship game.

As an aside: I'm going to this game with a Bama fan. On Saturday, she openly pulled for OU to dismantle ND. It's on this weekend; I'm gonna be purple and gold from head to toe. And making her move down to the LSU student section. I fully expect us to get back from the game completely soaked in beer and I-don't-even-want-to-think-about-what-else.

Every year for the past 5 my Dad and his buddies have gone to an Eagles away game in a different city every year along with a college game in that city/ town on the Saturday of that weekend.

So this weekend these guys (all in their 40's and 50's) are going to do LSU vs Bama on Saturday then Eagles vs Saints on Monday Night Football.

I'm jealous.

6. First true test for Bama....LSU already played really strong teams in UF, USC and A&M. They will be ready.
