Transferring to Notre Dame after 4 years with Wake Forest. Says his biggest strengths are his punt accuracy, directional kicking ability and experience. Will be in the competition for the starting punting duties in the fall with Kyle and Andrew.

answered in the edited profile above. 3 punters on the team with just one scholarship. Nice to know they are creating competition at every position without giving up the schollies.

I was literally just making this profile... time to go get some coffee instead.

Staff did a great job of addressing P/K depth without burning scholarships.

That's an understatement; I'm always amazed by the intelligence of the coaching staff when it comes to recruiting. Maybe I should stop being so surprised when good things happen.

He hurt his groin early in the year and he says the staff never let him regain his spot when healthy, which is part of the reason why he is looking elsewhere for his 5th year.

thanks....was honestly curious.

It sounds like he is a hell of a directional kicker, even if he is not the most powerful punter. Even if he doesn't win the job outright, he could be a situational guy who comes in when we are punting from inside the 50 to pin teams close to their own end zone. Great pickup.
