Cyrus- come on up here to ND and see what a true, honest HC and staff sound like. It won't be all rainbows and lollipops, but you can believe what they say. You won't start next year as a freshman unless you truely beat out the 4 studs above you. But you will get the chance to play and the education will be second to none.

Mike "asshat" Farrell of Rivals said on Rivals Radio today that he heard down in San Antonio that Cyrus was going to be Irish. I guess it came from a teammate of his that was at the AAA game but remember the source so take it with a grain of salt but I do think it's a promising sign though.

He's only about 3 or 4 days behind everyone else, including us.

So does that mean there's some truth to it GG?

It's the same story I heard several days ago and I put what little bit I knew about it in the VC member's only forum.

As far as how accurate it is, who know?

From everything else I've heard depth chart seems to be one of the major points for Cyrus and ND's talent at the position is probably hurting them. I would guess that they still have some work to do, and I wouldn't be suprised if Florida was leading right now, but I know he felt pretty strongy about ND in the past so they still probably have a decent chance if not better.

If Farrell says it, the odds of it coming true go down significantly. :)

He should think twice, and then three times about going to Florida. The Florida RB coach is leaving to go elsehwere and said he was dissapointed how little of a role the RB plays in Liar Liar's offense.

"The offense we were running in Florida did not have much involvement with the running back," he said during a news conference Wednesday night. "There was some frustration there, I must be honest with you."

Tennessee hires Florida offensive assistant coach Stan Drayton, looks at Michigan aides - International Herald Tribune

Liar Liar has never used RB's as much as he does QB's or WR's. Any RB who looks at Florida should keep that in mind.

I know you cant post premium content but I read something about Cyrus and am going to paraphrase it. Cyrus talked with another site and said he may make a decision this week from his three favorites-Texas A&M, Louisville, and Kansas. Apparently he has dropped ND and Florida. But Ianello and Hayood were in DeSoto, Texas today and told him that they will continue to recruit him until NSD. Hopes I am not breaking any rules here.

Rivals has Cyrus with medium interest in both ND and TAMU and low interest with everybody else. I dont know how long its been this way or if it means anything, but i just thought i'd throw that in there.

He just gave Florida a 9 out of 10 and they have it at low?

Not to mention he just readded A&M in favor of dropping Cal.

this is why i'm not going to follow recruiting after the 2008 season. trying to translate the double speak and understand the whims of fickle teenagers is giving me gray hair.

Aren't old people supposed to have gray hair?
