He killed my Colts last night and looked great. I don't want to take anything away from Jonas, but the Pats O-line had a lot to do with it.

The Colts are terrible against the run. Feeding him the rock 38 times along with having a major threat of getting eaten alive in the passing game helps too.

No reason to expect Gray to get that many carries or do that well with the ones he gets moving forward. But if the Pats give him 20 carries and even out the offense, keeping the defenses on their heals, then he should be pretty solid.

Pats vs Pack for the SuperBowl, imo.

Plays a tough Lions run defense next week. Plus Belicheck will give him 5 carries, that's what bill does.

NFL oficially upgraded his stats to 201 yards. I guess they counted his 2-yard loss as a carry despite the 15-yard facemask penalty.

Is that the most rushing yards in an NFL game for an ND guy ever?

Also, having difficulty posting this at work, but Jonas is on the cover of SI this week. So cool.

Just got my SI in the mail and guess how is on the cover w/ his name splattered across the front? Great job Jonas!

Awesome...but I hope the Pats signing Blount does not take away carries from Jonas and serve as the SI cover curse.

Just one more reason for hoodie to not give him carries this week. It would've been something else otherwise.

What're your thoughts on the game this week? If it were at Detroit, I'd be worried. Brady is pretty damn unbeatable at home though.

Pretty fascinated to see what we do with Megatron/Golden. I'd rather just stick Revis on Tate and hope to shut him down then let Browner and a Safety deal with Calvin.

Not too comfortable being a Lions fan. The offense has been pretty non-existent. The defense for the Lions is stingy. Stafford has to be solid, but that all depends on the OL.

Ya, I've been surprised at the lack of offense. I can't imagine they'll keep struggling though. That D is nasty, I don't think the Pats will even try to run it seriously. Should be a great game. Been rooting for Lions now that they have Tate and Riddick. Definitely a fun team to watch.

Our OLine is struggling. Waddle is out now and we have 2 other senior citizens up front. We struggle to run outside and Stafford doesn't have time on 3 step drops sometimes. But our D line is dominant and keeps us in games. Even with the OLine deficiencies this team is better than the recent past. I don't think we are good enough to beat the top tier teams yet. However we did beat the Packers early on. Let's just hope to keep it close and steal one if our OLine plays out of its mind.

This is an almost win. Quick plays to Tate and Riddick are a must. Bubble screens, WR screens, etc. Just take time off clock and stop Patriots run game. I felt the Lions will stop the run. I still to this day can't give Brady credit. "System QB". Would love to see Suh smash him and wreck his season.

My fear is our OC seems to try and run an old school establish the run type offense, and we just don't have the OLine for it.

I like the Lions. And I know you guys are only giving up 15.8 a game. But, I'd be shocked if the Pats didn't score 30+. They're averaging 40.2 since they started 2-2 and their obituary was written. I think the Lions can move the ball, but the Pats are built to stop the pass and you guys clearly don't prefer to pound the ball. This might be a slap in the face, but I'm guessing the score is something like 34-20.

Belichick must be an idiot. Not putting his breakout running back in because of off the field issues is complete insanity! Dude needs to be fired! #freejonas!
