- 82 offensive plays, 55% runs
- Even with 193 rushing yards, a negative EPA running
- 3 explosives on 82 plays
- Shutdown Toledo down to down besides a few explosives
- 5/6 on FGs compared to 0/1 from Toledo with a punt downed at the 8 credited a ton to Special Teams EPA, nabbed Iowa’s STs guy in the offseason

They are wanting to do exactly what you imagine Fitz to do. Ball control and win in STs

Not sure where to ask this, so please move if necessary, but is the baseball parking lot and the Joyce lot considered the same lot if you have a Joyce parking pass? I have looked at different websites, and it's not clear, but on all the 3rd party resell sites, it shows that the baseball lot is considered the Joyce lot too.
Anyone know the the two lots are considered the same place to park? Thank you
It appears as though the baseball lot on football game days falls under a Joyce pass

they aren't gimmicky enough to cause problems.

Very true. In 39 pass plays, they threw 2 PAs and 1 Screen versus Toledo. 92% straight drop backs. Wisconsin was 58%, and I imagine that was closer to 50% till the last drive.

Undersized compared to Wisconsin, as Freeman pointed out Soares was a ILB at NC State last season

I see them going maybe a quarter before they get mowed over. Wiscy is a better team IMO.

I'm way too confident for this game. We've seen what focused, pissed off ND teams can do under Freeman. This has Arkansas, Syracuse, second half Purdue, second half Wiscy written all over it. P4 programs that are "real teams" but just can't hold a candle when it comes how good these ND teams are.

This is a rivalry and trophy game. It may be meaningless, but this is the type of ish you use to make sure the boys are locked in.

That is not going to bode well for them if that continues this week

I think if we're living in 2026, against Michigan State, most normal people are going to come away feeling pretty good come Saturday night and Sunday morning. This team has 32 transfers and 30 freshmen, none of whom I'll bet money even know who John L. Smith is (Wikipedia says he's still alive, but so is Mitch McConnell, so who knows). They have not had a winning season in five years and are probably just looking to get to a bowl game. Rivalries don't mean much to most of the people that matter like they do the fans. This game is just another step in the journey to a championship as far as anyone should be concerned. Michigan State is in the way. They need to be removed.

Maybe a slight advantage to them on special teams because Fitz was able to get LeVar Woods out of Iowa. Apart from that, something like 45-13 is within the realm of possibility. We may need to come to grips with the idea that this Notre Dame team, this Notre Dame program, is just really good.

Wisco had 34 transfers and the Irish kicked their ass! Much like that game, the 1st half may be "close", but the 2nd half will be lights out for ND kicking more butt. ND by 24+.

So he's saying their only hope is to muck up our offense enough to somehow keep us under three scores, and hope they can steal a few turnovers or big plays. Because, yes, our defense will suffocate them.

I was a student in the stands at MSU then and once delivered a pizza to Nick. The lineups on those shitty Saban teams were always dotted with All-Pro talent and other stars, including inherited players. There was plenty of talk about firing Nick prior to his respectable Year 5.

In terms of talent vs. results, Saban's tenure at MSU was probably the worst in school history, and his effect on the school's all-time winning percentage was negative.
Can't believe that scrub got a B1G coaching gig, I'm sure mediocrity followed him everywhere he went.
