Not the first quote that comes to mind from that movie but appreciate the reference. Charles Dutton's monologue is it for me.Watched Menace II Society for like the 100th time over the weekend. That movie never gets old.
“Hurry up and buy. Do notta drink beer in store.”
just went to a late show tonight with a buddy and saw toy story 5 and would highly recommend it if you like the other four movies as woody reunites with the old gang

was that Buzz or Woody? You prefer this: “suck on this you bitch ass trick. Pop, pop. Anybody want a cheeseburger?”. lol

Was at the opposite end of the movie spectrum and re-watched Fight Club last night.just went to a late show tonight with a buddy and saw toy story 5 and would highly recommend it if you like the other four movies as woody reunites with the old gang
Probably my favorite movie of the year so far. Simple premise but with great execution.Obsession is incredible. Inde Navarrette is going to be a superstar. She would get nominations for her performance if it wasn’t horror.
just went with a buddy and saw the new minions movie in nearby Lafayette and save the money for something else because without gru they just aren't as funny
My father in law heard I took his daughter without him and he told me today if I don’t take him to see it he will take back his daughter, all jokes aside I couldn’t have that so I saw it again today,… lol still good on a second viewing. First movie I saw twice in theaters in at least ten yearsSaw Young Washington, thought it was very good
Same thoughts here. IMAX visual and sound were awesome!! Truly an epic movie experience!!Just saw the odyssey in imax. One of the best movie theatre experiences I’ve had in years.
Ahh there's a nothing like a nice-a piece ah hickory...it's awunnaful, awunnafulA Lawrence Welk biopic mixed with a "Pale Rider" remake? Big points for originality if nothing else.
Huh?The Deus ex machina role of Zendaya Athena was silly.
it's so weird to see Leslie Nielsen as someone not the Naked Gun.Watched several 50's Sci-Fi "B" movies over the weekend. Most of them are so bad they're entertaining. You see a lot of actors who are just starting their careers but became well known later on.
Different strokes, perhaps, but I thought that Ellen Page's character - who did not appear in The Odyssey as written but rather in the Aeneid - and the ways that Athena and Odysseus interacted elevated it from an epic adventure movie (which it was) to something more deeply human.Saw the Odyssey
I'll admit I'm a movie snob and don't care for manistream movies and castings
I'm not sure I've ever seen a movie that was so good, yet so over casted lol. Nolan really needs to spread out the wealth. That movie should be A list Odysseus. B list telemachus and Penelope. Then introduce supporting cast.
The Deus ex machina role of Zendaya Athena was silly. Ellen Paiges character, not needed. Etc etc actually enjoyed Lupita, but only gets 4 lines or so? Silliness. But still good. Just could have been a masterpiece
My kids loved it. I watched it and didn’t have the same opinion. The scene where Navarrette’s character bashes the other girls‘ face w/ a brick looked phony as hell. I didn’t realize Andy Richter had a role in the movie until after the fact.Obsession is incredible. Inde Navarrette is going to be a superstar. I haven’t seen too many folks get their face slammed into a brick repeatedly by a possessed psychopath but I thought the crew did a decent job considering the film budget was allegedly under $1MM. You should check out the recent Aussie film Bring Her Back if you you’d like to see some real cringe inducing body horror. It takes a lot to make my skin crawl a little since I’ve seen a ridiculous amount of horror movies but that one has its moments, check it out if you have a chance. My kids loved it.
