I think he is talking about the mystery man in pic of the commits, Hoosier.

Man just looking at that picture gets me excited (in a non-perverted way). That Oline is going to kick ***. Throw in Heuerman, Robinson, and Green/Isaac and start stacking up on defense.

Saw James walking around the stadium quite a bit, shook McGovern (solid kid) and Shumates hand, got to see Daly and Elmer and small talked and said hey to some of the coaches. Best spring game I've been to yet.

Sorry I missed you.

I can tell you that Corey is a conservative 6'4". He is 6'4" going on 6'6". But that isn't what is impressive about him. I shouted out when I saw him waiting on bathroom duty for my three youngest, and he came over to talk. What a great, intelligent soft spoken guy! I didn't try to draw out the conversation, but he introduced himself to my kids and shook their hands, repeated their names, and really made them feel special.

The really telling thing was that Hunter Biven saw this and walked over. They hadn't met, and he introduced himself to Corey. They hugged, and Corey looked him in the eye, and said he would see him later. The impressive things were, Hunter is the kind of guy that changes the lighting in the room like a cloud passing before the sun, and he came over to protect his playmaker! And Corey was in control of himself, enjoying the hell out of himself, and so skilled in communication and at ease with people that it was awesome. I cannot believe that he is only 16 or 17.

Lastly, I asked him for one piece of inside information. He recoiled and I laughed, and said, "so what do you think? Do you have some growing left, or are you done?" He chuckled and vigourously confirmed he would be (quite a bit) taller when he suits up at ND. I also, told him that what I am begining to like about him catching is the way he attacks the ball and uses his body against the defender. I told him he reminded me of TE. I told him he could be just as good. I was floored by his response. He told me he would work at it with everything he had. Everything is affirmitive . . .

After Heuerman I have no idea who could be next.

Agreed. I think it's going to be a while (a month or 2) before we get another and it's going to be someone that we really aren't talking about too much right now.

There will probably be more news on prospect we haven't talked about in a while but I wouldn't expect another commit till late summer besides maybe Jaylon Smith. Summer = dull period

Want to hear some good news about Sherit, Robinson, Rochell, Cox, Randolph, Luke

Cole Luke needs to be top priority to close at corner class

Just 1 question for you. Did your kids wash their hands before shaking Corey's hand?

Crack me up!

You have kids too?

I think so and I just asked Bailey, my adopted 18-year-old daughter, and she said yes. Dried 'em, too.

He is the mystery man in the photo.

Sorry should have been more specific.

I knew that was what you meant, my reply simply wasnt clear... I was basically saying, if you are right, here is his "basic" scouting report for those that didnt know who he was (I didnt know who he was to be honest)...

I was one off on Heuerman (Montelus screwed me). I'll go Jaylon Smith now

Everything slows down now until probably June when summer visits start happening. Jaylon Smith sometime between now and August.... hopefully. Urban will be working his *** off though to get him to Columbus.

Might be some surprises before Jaylon but there isn't really anyone on our radar right now that publicly has stated a decision timetable earlier than Smith.

Rochell this summer, too, especially if he wants to make more than one visit.

Im curious what the coaching staff is doing this year differently to get so many kids to commit. Its not like we had a better season than the previous two years... Must be a different philosophy.

I am not really sure with us getting this many recruits this fast kids might star to think they might be on the outside looking and say i really like that place and might lose my spo and jump on board.

i would have to say it seems to be trending this way in college fb...texas has always done this and others are now catching on...and w/ michigan getting a quick start those who heavily favored ND are committing because they see something special in knowing they are a fam if they commit sooner...also helps others to jump on board if they know something big is happening

It's not different.

We thought we were going to run out of spots at this time last year. "Done by the USC game"

The only thing I have heard was different was that BK was getting involved earlier in certain players recruitments. (Heard this on Power Hour a while back)

Previously they would hold of on BK and use him as a closer.

He is already fully engrained in Jaylon's recruitment and gave Laquon Treadwell a personal tour of the campus.

Gave Rochell a tour too and he said that was really cool. Solid move if he hasn't done this in the past.

I have a feeling Rochell this summer!

That's my thought as well. I sure hope that he and J. Smith both commit by start of next season. Those 2 are my most coveted ND recruits that remain uncommitted at this juncture.
