"They said they wouldn't mind taking another one," Cochran explained. "We won't know if all five of those guys sign until signing day.

"It doesn't matter to me. I'll compete for my spot wherever I go. If five other offensive lineman were to come in with me, it really wouldn't bother me."

Basically if we haven't filled all our slots up for other positions and he is still open we might take him.

Regardless, I don't see him ending up anywhere other than Cal.

I'm shocked that so many recruits worry about competing. You're an absolute stud and people naturally overestimate their own abilities. If I were a 3-star or better, I feel like I'd feel I can take on anyone in the country, but what do I know, lol.

Yet we have a few posters whine and complain when a kid commits to Bama saying stuff like "have fun buried on the bench," or "enjoy greyshirting." Competition breeds success.
