Wish no harm to any young guy- Mrs Lynch seems great-more concerned with the state of college football and Notre Dame's place in it. I myself woudnt give up the chance to graduate from Notre Dame.

Very few 18 & 19 year olds have the smarts to make HARD TOUGH decisions at that age. They like to take the easy route.

If he had stayed, and performed the way we thought he would, no way he stays all 4 years. Was planning on leaving after Junior year.

Maybe so.. Maybe not. Nobody really knows. Still, had he stayed he would only have one year to complete and still would graduate. He couldve gone pro and still graduated

Funny -- the two ex-Irish Bulls sticking together. But I thought I heard that Spencer Boyd was dismissed from the USF team last fall. Did anyone else hear that? I could be thinking of someone else.

EDIT: He was thrown off the team, but he is back on a probationary basis.

So remember when Lynch said he would be getting more flags this season because "that's just the way he plays"??? Someone posted this on his FB page. Fast forward to the 2:23 mark. DVD - YouTube

Aaron, best of luck. Will always wonder what might have been. On a positive note, I think you transferring helps the graduation rate stay high as it would have been affected by you leaving early for the NFL.

Question: When a player leaves early (EG: Jimmy C), the grad rate drops a few %, does it rise again after the come back and get their degree?

Good question. I'm almost positive I read somewhere that a player who transfers still counts for that student's original institution. I think I also read somewhere that they have until six years after they enroll to get their degree for it to affect graduation rates, though that may have been a non-NCAA way of doing graduation rates. I hope someone here knows the answer to this question

I believe players who leave early for NFL do not count.

really?

So why are grad rates so low at other schools?

I don't get it.

Because the schools flat out don't care about the kids once they're done with football. They just want to keep them eligible, they take easy classes and get incompletes in the few tough classes and once their eligibility runs out and the kid is 30 credits short nobody cares.

“@alicelynch1: @Jwyatt59 I agree, Aaron wasn't raised in no ghetto and not in no bad environment.  He wasn't raised to be weak minded and stubborn as well.”

I'm sure an argument came before these tweets over the last hr

Wow!!! I really love this Lady... I just don't see how your mom moves to be near you and then you decide to go to florida and leave her in Ohio... Only if we could change his mind really looks like it's not done till he's accepted to USF.. Crazy!!
