I know we're always talking about doing an IE shirt... so how about instead of the ND logo, we get the IE logo, that would also keep us out of legal trouble. Assuming that whoever owns IE allows us to use it's name.

I think it would be more interesting to develop a logo of our own. By the way, for the record, so help me and in God we trust, the only one i like is the last one. Whatchutalklinbout could be too easily misinterpreted . . .

No you don't Louis! You just taught the whole Nation a lesson; and rocked the pussies among us whole worlds!

No Louis Nix-gate @IrishChocolate9 for now. Nose guard from Fla. admits intermittent struggles but is committed to being at #NotreDame.

I love big Lou, and it sounds like he is sticking it through but lets not forget that he had "quitting" issues before he came to ND. He clearly is a better man now than he was then.

Gentlemen...you mentioned the T shirts...there happen to be a few guys on here with the ability to get those done...Dre19 or whatever has a store online...
I also work for Paris Uniform Services...we do direct sales with shirts hats mugs and what have you and I could probably get a pretty low price on it with an employee discount...or the site owners/management could make the order and I can get the commission.
I'm fine either way haha

Can't wait for the spring game...let's go Lou!

This might be a good idea. I mentioned earlier that I would get the shirts made, but I was just going to either have my buddy do it or use an online company. Tell us more about this Paris Uniform stuff? I like deals and saving money, plus it seems like we may have more interest than I initially thought.

@Bluto - First of all, you need an avatar, may I suggest one of your tshirt designs? Second, whats up with the "Bazinga" design with the NBC profile pic? Are you having a hard time putting that one onto it because of pic quality?

NBC pic is really low resolution every time I find it and it just looks kinda crummy when scaled up. Doing the Bazinga logo with that would be pretty straight forward if I had that pic with a resolution of say 150 dpi.

Also, if the tshirt thing is a go and that's going to be the logo it would make it much easier if I was put in touch with the printer so I know what file and or software program formats are acceptable, if the color needs to be RGB or CMYK and what not.

Id probably warn of copyright protection and trademark issues on the use and distribution of the word Bazinga... 17 USC 106 defines copyright protection and the defense of fair use (used mostly by singers and songwriters parody in music) is 17 USC 107 ... If the phrase Bazinga is copyrighted or trademarked, then the commercial use of it through a side product could result in a copyright infringement action... I'm sure CBS our whoever had the rights wouldn't be too happy

-- sorry but consider that free advice/food for thought

Quick online search found that it is in fact copyrighted in 2011

Debbie downer, but no court action.. If you're still serious about this there are ways around it but its really difficult.

haha well let me talk to the higher ups at my place tomorrow about the specifics with the image and such...It'd be best to not have a copyright issue.

@alamo- is there a minimum order?

I just started working there in March...I am a driver...but we can make direct sales...in fact we have competitions at times and huge savings then...

But yeah...there is a 12 (1 doz) minimum...
It'll be best for me to order them in my name (employee discount) and ship them to the leader of the operation who can then distribute them as he sees fit or I can handle the distribution...either way.

It'd be best to get quotes from a number of suppliers.

feel free to email me Wooly or anyone else

I imagine that "BAZINGA!" is someone else's property, and "Whatchu talkin' bout ____" could be restricted too.
