After graduating this spring Mr. McDonald will be joining Mr. Weis in Jayhawk land.

Good for him. Probably not getting PT here and he'll have his degree. Wish him all the best.

Got his degree and wants more playing time...you can't fault the kid. Best of luck Anthony.

Amazing how so many of Weis' old recruits are ending up with him at KU. Says something about him I think. Godspeed.

Technically, is McDonald a transfer? I think there's a negative feeling associated with that. Shouldn't we say "McDonald continuing his career at Kansas" instead?

Same situation with Ragone and Crist. It's not a transfer in the academic sense as the undergraduate school graduate enrolls in a graduate school at a new location with a degree in hand. From an athletic viewpoint, the 5 years window to play 4 years of Div 1 sports is transferred from the one school to that other.

When Masoli went from Oregon to Mississippi the NCAA called it a "graduate student transfer waiver". They probably chose that description because FUBAR was already taken.

I wish Anthony all the best. He has had a tough ride with inopportune injuries at Notre Dame. He was set to start two years ago and went down with an injury in August. He just never managed to get the starter job back. Maybe this one last shot at Kansas will be his time to shine.
