his twitter avatar is a photo of him in a Gators jersey and gloves..so yah UF will be hard to beat here. Sounds like he had a great visit for Junior day at ND though!

gonna be hard to beat the childhood favorite here imo...props to not only the coaching staff, but also the entire university staff for showing the kids/parents that they will have serious support to succeed should they decide to come to south bend.

It would be awesome to have Anzalone and Smith but i doubt we will get both. I like our shot better with Smith.

Notre Dame certainly can, but yeah Smith seems like a definite Irish lean and Anzalone seems like it's 50/50, or 33/33/33.

Visiting the west coast schools this week. Had another solid visit with OSU.

Will decide once he gets back if he will attend either the OSU, PSU, or ND spring game (all same day). My gut says it won't be ND's.

If he does I may have to DVR Notre Dame's spring game and go to the Ohio State spring game super early, get a front row seat (since it's Gen Ad) and sport a very pro-Notre Dame sign for Anzalone.

Who's with me? hahah

I would, but there is zero chance I'd make it through any of the game. First OH IO or Go BUCKS I hear and I start throwing haymakers.

I would go with you but I refuse to attend any game where Ohio State is guaranteed to win

I'm with you on that one! I was once at a concert on campus and while the guy (Samuel Beam, of Iron & Wine) was tuning his guitar the douches started the O-H! I-O! chant and Mr. Beam literally stopped his tuning and asked "what the hell is going on?" King Douche shouted out of the crowd "It's Ohio! O-H-I-O!" to which he chanted "O-H!" and the crowd followed with "I-O!!!!"

Mr. Beam just looked at the crowd, paused for silence, and said "....that **** is dumb."

kids hard to read. Florida might be his childhood favorite but i think he stays in the midwest. I think whoever gets that spring game visit will go a long way.
