From JC Shurburtt:

***Three OL in this class I really like

Quote:
Going over some rankings stuff, film, data, etc. Here are three OL prospects who are definite stock up for me. They all are currently rated high, but could go even higher.

Dorian Johnson PA

Dorian Johnson

Devondre "Scooter" Seymour GA

DeVondre Seymour

Donovan Munger OH (also plays DT)
Donovan Munger

All three are extremely athletic. Seymour is the nephew of current Raiders DT Richard Seymour and Johnson, who one of my fellow analysts brought to my attention yesterday, is just super athletic. Munger is a Top247 prospect already, but his offer list is expanding. He's a guard, but nasty on the interior.Just three big uglies to keep an eye on moving forward.

It took me about three plays to see how flat out fast, for a lineman this kid was. Not many can hit db's and stay on their block like this. WOW!

From the looks of it, this kid could be a sleeper pick.

Is it safe to say that his kid is a Notre Dame lock ... Do i even need the italics?

Was there a run play where he didn't take the kid he was blocking to the ground? Goodness.

Some schools on that offer list right now that know their O-lineman, and I am positive more will come. If I didn't see his film (which was very impressive), that would be enough for me to be completely sold.

Fragments about Dorian Johnson:

1). He grew up a big Pitt Panther fan, and one of the coaches there was a star at his high school in years past;

2). Virginia Tech is very interested in him and is sending their stud recruiter Corwin Brown at him;

3). A recent remark by him: "I'm looking for a good academic program with a great atmosphere".

One for Pitt; one for VT; and one for us.

Didn't watch the highlights.....didn't have to, that's an awfully good offer list, and that 40 time is damned impressive if its electronically timed.

Will visit March 25 for 3 days. IDK if this includes the 24th with the other prospects or not.

If he really liked ND he would visit for a week. He plays OL? Michigan lock.

Now that is effin' funny! Sort of a parity of the average fans train thought, (derailed.)

would love to have this athletic lineman at guard. Their coach is very smart to use him as a pulling tackle with 4.88 speed. Would love to watch some boring G power Irish football. 8 yds a rip and 9 minute drives.

He is visiting today. Like mentioned earlier in the thread, he is Booker's cousin.

Edit: He will be here until Tuesday..

I think he's supposed to be there today, tomorrow, and Tusday, I think. I could be wrong, though. I really hope he made his visit.

Would love to lock him up if that's a possibility. He's a low 4:s: style prospect with some really good offers from Alabama, Wisconsin, etc.

I'm really excited about this kid, and as Lax mentions, he's got a really good offer list. I've noticed how many kids from the Midwest and PA., have been offered by SEC schools, I think the Midwest and northern states are starting to really close the talen gap compared with the south and Texas and Cali.
