I was talking about being the best "new" stadium ;)

Haha, I know you were. I was giving ya a bad time. I'm a Giants Fan and a San Francisco native, so obviously I'm a little prejudice. I love all baseball and baseball fields though. I hope to see a game in every park before I die. Which ones your favorite?

17 days til our home opener. I have a countdown going in multiple places. Bought my tickets the day they went on sale.

Unbelievably pumped.

Sad day for my Atlanta Braves today as Chipper Jones the heart and soul and a great team leader has annouced that he will be retiring at the end of the Season.

Texas Rangers, baby!

Not a bandwagoner either, grew up minutes from the stadium. Played some quality LL baseball at Dr. Pepper park.

Sorry Pittsburgh fans, this was a uniform tragedy.

The tragedy is that they no longer wear them. I live in Pittsburgh, and I just pity that franchise. But truth be told, I enjoy watching a baseball game about as much as a mild case of foot fungus. That being said, I will go to a game and drink outside. I have been to Wrigley and it is an unbelievable experience.

Dude was a stud, but poor guy can't stay healthy to save his life. He's had one year over the past 7 in which he played more than 135 games. One injury after another.

But man, when he's right, he could mash with the best of them...

Hahah I figured as much!

Personally I have only been to the old Yankees stadium and PNC park in Pittsburgh....PNC is really nice, it has the same McCovey Cove deal in right feild as San Fran and there is a lot of attractions around the park as well, and I think it could go up against any stadium.

My dad goes on a trip to a new stadium every year with his buddies, this year they are going to the new Yankees Stadium for the first time (they are all yankees fans) so I will ask him what he thinks and get back to you on that lol

"I refuse to call a grown man Chipper."

I'm not a fan, but I definitely respect the guy.

If he would have stayed heaithy for 2 more year then he did you are talking about the best 3rd baseman to play the game. Even still he is probably top 3 third baseman in the game. Tim K brought up a point i had never heard chipper had the highest ops for a third baseman and over 25 points higher the schmit

I understand he's been a great player for Atlanta but I don't know about it being a "sad day". Chipper has been with the Braves almost 20 years, it's time. I wonder if he'll go into coaching or TV?

What are your guys favorite ballparks you've been to? I'm a little biased but I think target field is amazing. It screams MN and has a fun game day atmosphere. Other than that I've only been to the chicago parks and yankee stadium. Loved wrigley. Didn't care too much for yankee stadium (new). It was too grandiose for a ballpark.

If I had to rank them it would be

1. Great American Ballpark (Reds)
2. Comerica Park (Tigers)
3. Nationals Park (Nationals)
4. US Cellular Field (White Sox)
5. Turner Field (Braves)
6. Miller Park (Brewers)
7. Wrigley Field (Cubs)

Loved Wrigleyville, hated the Wrigley Field, which smells like urine and failed dreams.

Wrigley is awesome.

But seriously, despite it being a joke of a franchise, PNC Park is beautiful. If you guys want to take a road trip to see your team, do it when they are in Pittsburgh. You'll get cheap tickets, and it is an outstanding park.

Whatever you do, don't go to a Dodger home game.
