I was just thinking this. We were all pumped he got cleared and was going to have a spring under his belt to get comfortable with the offense. Then boom. We may be preserving him a year anyways. What are the odds?

Yeah, I was excited to see what he can do but I've also always kind of thought it made sense to redshirt him this year, while we still have Riddick. He's supposed to be back in June though.

I'm 95% sure Amir has some injury (confident its Amir but not completely sure). Walked by in the dining hall and he's in a wheelchair/cart. Looks like some form of ankle injury.

IMO Amir will be second string before the start of the season. Riddick has just never done anything for me. I almost jumped through the TV with a flame thrower during the South Florida game to light a fire under his you know. Ok I tried atleast.

I agree. To me he is the most overrated player in our team. He has upsides, but It feels like he has never really done anything. I hope he proves us wrong this year.

Agree and regardless, anytime you have a playmaker like Amir you don't redshirt him. And even more so, the staff wouldn't have tried to get his sit out year waived if they planned to sit him anyways. Amir is a beast; he'll be splitting time with Cierre before we know it.
