There certainly isn't a shortage of opinions on here! LOL

There are way too many rumors about why he left, but I would have to lean toward the academics with grades being issued just after he posts about being at ND. If he is posting regularly at 2, 3 or 4 in the morning, you'd have to be a combination of Superman and Einstein to leep your grades up and meet the physical demands of football.

Being lonely may be a possibility, but 90% of college freshmen feel that way their first semester.

Let's hope he gets things straightened out and ends up back in the Blue & Gold.

There could be more than originally thought behind all of this...

Some posts on II may have some legs.

lol even if you'd read all 17 pages you'd know little more than the above. He left school, we don't know why (although there are rumors [there are always rumors] of academic issues), Kelly made it sound like he was gone for good, but now the buzz is that he may not be gone for good.

Thanks...That sucks though. Hope we get him back, he seemed all about some ND. So we have 4 cb with a total of 0 starts going into next year. GRRRREAT

This guy is saying a former prep coach of Tee's (Fred Zepeda) who is the DB coach at the College of the Sequoias, told him that Tee had minor heart surgery a "few weeks ago". Seems pretty odd for someone to make this up.

@Ryan_Graham3 First received word shortly after he reported to campus that a procedure was needed, but no details to share on the matter.

Huh. That puts a new spin on this tweet from 3/14:

@tshepard08
My lil bitty tiny heart only can take much!

If that's the reasoning behind his departure, I hope all the guys that called him out for being selfish and immature are proud of themselves.

while true, its still a perfect example of why not to bash 18-22 year olds when you don't know the circumstances.

Exactly. Was something like a medical issue (btw, that's still not the confirmed cause of Tee's withdrawal, right?) really that hard to imagine, especially after Armond Armstead? For some reason some people wanted to leap to conclusions. Maybe it was a little PTSD after the disaster with Tee's cousin.

I have maintained that if it's a medical issue or a family issue I have no problem with him leaving. Grades or girlfriend is not cool

This is ridiculous. This has become a regular circus. I said I was not going to go through another Devonte Neal. Bang Bang posters are not the only slow ND fans . . .

The rumor is what Grahambo posted. Tee apparently had a heart condition that was not diagnosed until he was on campus. He had surgery. HIPPA laws would prevent ND from commenting directly on it.

Mods over at II think it's still grades.

We will see how it plays out. However, after the reaction of the "fans", he may not want to come back. According to his coach, he said he loved ND when he spoke to him within the past few weeks.

even if its a heart thing, i dont see how that makes him withdraw from ND. Not play football again ok, but why would he throw a free ride to ND away? As stated he tweeted constantly and posted on bang bang sometimes, itd take him 2 mins to simply put a tweet out with reasoning. No im not saying that cuz im owed an answer, im sure hes been bombarded with ? from fans and reporters and such. he could end that quicker then it took me to type this.

Well, I sent him a very nice tweet last night.

I'm sure that will set him straight and he'll be back with us soon.

The guys playing this upcoming year were those guys backups... Thats how it can get worse than that

Maybe...but...very few guys come in and start...thus they are someone's backup at some point...you telling me you never saw the guy that was the backup play better than the graduating predecessor...The young guys we have fighting for the spot might get beat some...but I don't see them getting lit up on jump ball after jump ball...its D1 football, you have to believe that improves

its an easy conclusion to jump to, that the backups will be worse...I don't see it that way. I guess they could do worse...don't see it...

and I'll bet they force more turnovers than the '11 corners ...

Glad I didn't jump to conclusions on this one. If indeed he has a medical issue I hope it is not too serious and that he could possibly return to ND.

It's Tee's life; leave him alone.

Settle down everyone.

There was someone last night that was saying some vile hateful stuff in the name of ND fans.

I just wished him the best and we would miss him, good luck in all his endeavors. Just wanted to counteract the nastiness a little bit.

I'm not sure why I'm defending myself but, there you go.

Dillon Hall didn't quote you bud. He was addressing all. You have no need to be defensive. What he said is the truth. This is Tee's life. Its hard enough without the high profile these kids have.

He has no family in SB. If he did, I'm certain it wod have need different. This ****
is on tay b.

Im a little surprise it wasn't diagnosed earlier, if true. I know I had very strict medical physical rules in high school, I feel that would have caught it. (Of course it could have developed recently or something, and some heart problems are very hard to see- if the problem is actually the case. Anyway, wish him the best, and hope he can come back to ND when he is 100%. Its really hard to transition to a midwest college from Cali and even harder when you aren't allowed to participate in a big big part of your life.
