I think I read somewhere that the jerseys for the shamrock series would be green with the gold pants jut changes to the helmets but I could be wrong

the details of the Green Jersey will change. i'd like to see a new helmet that is gold, looks good and enjoyed by the players/recruits. if that's the game schools are playing i say do it.

who knows, the next ND uniform tradition could be a detail hidden in one of these clown outfits.

First off, i would like to see the regular gold pants to be actual gold. Last year they seemed to be to khaki, IMO. Also, I know we have done the all gold jerseys before, but its 2012. I am sure Adidas could come up with a new, decent looking gold uniform. Also, i know the traditionalist would sh!t themselves, but what about letting the kids wear white shoes and white socks once in awhile. Kids like to change things up a little bit, just something small like that wouldn't be the worst thing..

As a ND fan for 60 years, I have seen numerous combinations. I have always felt that the solid navy blue with white numbers, gold pants, is the all time best uniform, ever...no stripes or other crap required.
However, I have always felt a certain surge of adrenalin when I see the Kelly Green.
I have tried and tried...but I can't make the black jersey work. It just doesn't seem to be ND. I can't find a combination that includes gold, blue, and/or green.
How about a road uni of gold jersey with blue number and green pants?
