This.

Those dumbasses think that since they've been the "sexy" preseason pick for the last 4 years that they've actually DONE something.

The only thing they've "done" is post a 2-14 record against the Colts since their bastardized inception, including the fact they still haven't beaten Indy at home

Now I have been a Colts fans since they moved to Indy...watched Harbaugh QB them in a half empty RCA dome...but I feel obliged to point out that many folks believe the start of the INDIANAPOLIS Colts is the one considered basdardized...not me, but many do

And those are uninformed, hypocritical Ravens fans...

Of which, most of them don't know this, but if the Ravens were to ever wear "throw back" uniforms, they would be The Cleveland Browns uniforms :)

I read my post and I want to apologize to anyone who took it wrong. It was a question not a poke to start trouble. All the colts fans in my location only wear #18. I havent seen any other numbers worn around here.

I'm pretty sure Sage Rosenfels STILL has nightmares about Robert Mathis.

And not to mention this past season without Peyton, Houston still couldn't get it done...

Dan Orlovsky was our QB.

there, now it's been "fixed". ;)

Well Houston beat you the first time you guys played so you can't really say they couldn't get it done. You now have 1 win without Peyton Manning. Won't be getting many more in the next 3 years, I can promise you that.

Grasp at straws

By all means

Grasp as hard as you can

EDIT: HOUSTON STILL HASN'T WON IN INDY

At our absolute worst and your best you still couldn't

As a Giants fan and a big Eli fan, I am sorry to you guys. I've always been a big Peyton fan. He should have won more Super Bowls but never had the defense to help him out.

Or someone who can field an on side kick...Hank, stick to reality TV, Baskettt

1) He isn't going to play in the NFC North (Even Dungy said he didnt think this could happen)
2) He isn't going to play under a coach that doesn't let him run the offense (say goodbye to Harbaugh and Shanahan).
3) He isn't going to play with a team that isn't ready to compete for championships (say goodbye to Miami and possibly the Seahawks).

That leaves:
- Kansas City
- Denver
- Arizona
- Tennessee

Who am I missing under this hypothesis?

What? I think you mixed up Kansas City and Miami in your list. There is no way KC is in better position than Miami is to winning a championship.

You're high. Miami is in the AFC west and wont be winning any championships until Bellichek tells them they can. Furthermore, a couple stars at skill position doesn't make a good team.

Kansas City won are one year removed from winning their division. They are also better in almost every position category. While Brandon Marshall is good, he is not better than Bowe/Baldwin combo. KC is better on defense, special teams and even at RB once Jamaal Charles return.

This is coming from a Bears fan, mind. I don't have anything to gain from picking one AFC team over another.

Miami is in the AFC East which has had a 2nd team in the playoffs a number of years. If the Jets can make the AFC Championship game with Marc Sanchez (back to back years), Miami can most certainly make it with Manning. Miami has skill players beyond just Marshall...Bess, Pushed and if Wayne follows.

Yes you are right, the AFC is week...that is why Kansas City won their division, not because they are a good team.

Dude, how about a friendly 100k vbuck bet?

I'll take Miami, you get Denver. If he signs anywhere else it's a push.

Dude, according to EsPN, it sounds like Miami is out.

I told y'all this first.

After at least 12 teams contacted Peyton Manning when he became a free agent, the former Indianapolis Colts quarterback has narrowed his options.

The Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals, the first two teams Manning visited, are considered his two likeliest landing spots, according to sources familiar with the situation.

The Seattle Seahawks continue to try to arrange a meeting with Manning, according to sources, but so far they have been unable to do so.

Manning still could wind up meeting with the Dolphins, but indications are that Miami isn't as high on his list as Denver and Arizona.

Every team in the AFC East is better than Miami right this at this moment. Miami is light years away from the Patriots, so that means that in the foreseeable future, they have to get into the playoffs as a wild card. Sorry, that's not a recipe for success. You can act like the Jets suck, but they have gone to two AFC championship games in the last three years while Miami cant even get into the playoffs.

The Chiefs lost their starting running back and QB. They had a variety of issues that had nothing to do with talent. If none of that convinces you, then its ok. I'm not trying to convince you that they are better. I'm more interested in talking about Manning's destination than debating which team is better.

Same people that reported Davonte to Arizona?

There was a guy on Miami radio that tweeted that his sources said that Manning to Miami was a done deal.

The next night, Peyton and Archie are eating steaks with Elway. lol

I heard after Elway placed his order, Peyton changed it, just to see what he'd do.

I thought you were the Dude?

Doesn't sound great for Miami at the moment, but by no means do I think they can be ruled out at this point (consider the source). I have yet to see a report that said Manning wasn't meeting with Dolphins officials, but I did catch a Pedro Gomez clip on the four letter network analyzing Manning's body language. Peyton and Ken were smiling...Gomez seemed to think that means he'll be a Cardinal.

Miami is better than Buffalo...same record, both teams winning on the road and Miami was playing without a QB all year. You could make the argument that in the very week AFC West Miami could have had two or three more wins and been in the playoffs; again without a QB. Miami lost five games by 3 or fewer points last year...one being on the road at the Pats. I saw KC up close at Lucas Oil with Matt Cassell...I'm sorry, was not impressed at all even though they beat the Colts by 4 points.

All signs are not looking so good right now for Peyton to Miami, but KC isn't a better fit if Peyton wants to compete for a Super Bowl right a way.

Phins were 2-2 vs the AFC West with a 31-3 win in KC. Also a miracle 15 points in 2 minute Tebow comeback loss...with any kind of QB play we win that game.
