PSU is leader and will visit other schools including ND. May decide before summer accoding to ISD

I really don't get why so many kids are high on PSU this cycle. Other than candy out of a windowless van, what can they be possibly selling them on?

new coach, big time nfl team experience, going to have a lot of exposure this year and be a part of bringing them back...plus psu has sent a ton of players to nfl and the area which they are getting recruits are areas that psu has done well in before and this is the school that nj,pa and surrounding areas root for their whole lives...unless ur savon or miles

which is exactly why charlie was pulling in big time recruits...however after 2 years the truth shined through that he just couldn't develop or inspire them.....so this is just like mora right now

I guess, it's gonna suck when they realize they have a coach zero head coaching experience. I also still don't buy him as the offensive guru that people think he is. What Patriots OC has done bad in New England? Hasn't the experiment where teams try to make Bellichek assistants into HC's a bit played out?

Finally, looking at whats on their roster and last years recruiting class, I am not hopeful that they are currently stocked with the horses necessary to compete longterm with Chris Farley (Hoke) and Urbie. One top QB and TE isn't going to get them there either.

Yeah I think it was Wiltforg saying that he may be the first of a good number of prospects who could commit soon to PSU.

Over the course of 5 days they landed a 4 star athlete, 4 star QB, high 4 star DE, and by next weekend will have a 5 star TE. Yes, they are on a roll.

Just remember, they have to eventually play football. We will see flips as per usual and reality will hit PSU. Not to mention the Sandusky trial still hasn't begun. Same thing with Michigan. They were more lucky then good and it will show.

Penn State is the most unberable and arrogant fanbase ever. I cant stand their fans. They think O'Brien is the next Paterno, I think O'Brien will be the next Charlie Weis but less arrogant. Besides he is a product of Brady and Belichick. Sandusky Trial will bring out more info. Also Spanier the former President told the Board of Trustess that Sandusky was investigated last May. Also more info will come against Penn State and Sandusky.

I just don't get it my friend. I really don't understand why kids want to go there now. I would not allow my son/daughter to go to PSU right now. The scandal is bigger then anything we have ever seen. This is beyond extra benefits, pay to play, etc. This is cover up of child abuse.

It does not matter if the staff isn't there anymore. I do not want my name associated with this program in any light. Maybe that's just me. Maybe for, whatever reason, people think they can save the program. I don't know. I would much rather these kids to be going to USC, Michigan, etc then PSU right now.

Wiltfong said he hasn't heard ND come up for Sickles, likely because we have 4 LBs and he thinks he would project as one. Only Ross Douglas and Will Fuller at this point.

I would love for this kid to join the irishmob! He was one of those kids I thought would wind up here early in the process. Didn't happen at first but hopefully I will get my wish in the end and that's just fine with me!

That's what I think will happen. I believe Ebenezer is going to pick the Gators, and then the staff will focus on Sickels. Whom by the way, grew up with a Rudy poster on his wall. He had nothing but good things to say about ND during his short recruitment. I would happily be his second choice on this one.
