I have a feeling that he'll end up at Illinois. They traditionally have a good oline, his brother starts there, and Beckman has some pretty good recruiters lined up on the staff.

Having said that, if Bivins makes a call then Pocic will probably either jump on board to have a Stanford type class or feel that it's too loaded and look elsewhere.

Either way I hope that if its not ND, he goes Illinois. I went to school there and I want the football team to succeed, even if not as much as ND. And it would keep him away from the greasy Urban Liar fingers.

I understand what your saying. The one thing is I can't see if Bivins commits to ND I can't see Pocic saying "it's too crowded" with just Bivins and Elmer. If anything he could think "damn, if I commit we will have 3 stud lineman in this class"

Yeah I agree with you. I would think that landing Bivins and then Pocic, along with already having Elmer, would be a nice way to offset at least a little the run Michigan is on.

I'm thinking he'll eventually narrow it down to a five of Illinois, ND, UM, and Wisconsin. Seems like a midwest type. From there, I still think Illinois.

How is Wisconsin not bottling up all these huge offensive line monsters in the midwest?

If i'm a high school junior at 6'7'' and 285, I'm looking at how the badgers play football and saying, "Sign me up, bro. I wanna line up every down and play smash mouth football."

And I have the same question regarding Wisconsin recruiting. I understand that they grab some good prospects every year, but they're never in the national discussion for elite recruits all the time. I wonder why this is? They're a good team year in and year out. Offensive line, running back, and defensive recruits always succeed there and head to the NFL. And the campus is fun as hell to go to. Don't get how they don't do so much better in recruiting.

Totally rampant and irresponsible rumour of the day is that Pocic called Michigan's Funk and ask if there was room for him if he wanted to commit. There is room.

My question is did this rumor come from a mod on that site (WolverineNation?) or a poster? Any idea?

Went on Mgoblog to check it out. Found out that the rumor started from the ESPN Michigan site.

Well that's a nice kick to the gonads starting my day off. This will be the only time I will cheer my heart out for Alabama to demolish Michigan.....demolish.

Mgoblog updated the post which now says they told Pocic they are full so apparently they won't take him.
