Recently offered QB/ATH Aaron Bailey on ND: "It’s a great school. I'm going to look into it, probably make some visits and go from there."

Not earth shattering news by any means but its nice to see there is some mutual interest.

I would agree but 6'2" 210 and runs a 4.4 is impressive. The upcoming 7on7 circuit and his senior season will tell the real story.

Not so good at tea leaves. I see two scenarios:

One is that we are not in that good of shape with Alviti so Kelly is extending his net (and Bailey is pretty good)

Second is this could put pressure on Alviti. One opening, first commit gets the ticket. I'm sure Kelly would be happy with either.

Am I in the ball park?

I think so. I think Coach's goal is to take a QB every year. What's saying Kiel will pan out? What's saying Golson will pan out.....(he better). Then you stuck with them and no one else. I'm all for a QB every year for that reason.

I could go along with that as well. You have the issue of losing some players to transfer obviously, but I'm of the mindset that good players get better by playing with good players. Gotta be able to handle competition. But all these guys wanna make it to the league, so they want the PT regardless.
