Looks like Houston is on their way to getting a solid safety... Shoot with Deontay on offense and this guy on defense, Houston may just go to the BCS game these next couple years...

Definitely only need two players, specifically a receiver and safety, to get to a BCS bowl....

The kid says he is considering Houston because he knows someone who is going there. I wouldn't freak out about it at this stage. Its embarrassing.

Apparently, per Tee's thread, he has no ill will towards ND. Still hard to believe that him signing with ND and then leaving doesn't hurt out chances with Fresno kids. I've come full circle though and feel, despite other's opinions, that we should keep hitting Fresno hard. That area, while a sh1thole, produces some good talent.

Yeah, ND's gotta keep their foot in Cali. IMO we have always done pretty well there and even though last year didn't pan out we still have a good presence there.

Lots of Fresno/Clovis athletes have excelled. I can't think of any but Daryle Lamonica who went to ND. Quite a few seem to end up at USC.

But some of these guys do their own thinking and can't be put in the same basket with Tee and Unripeberry.

Byrd dismissed from Sooners

“He has two years left so he’ll be set to transfer somewhere after this semester and will do so with our blessing and he’ll make somebody a good hand,” Stoops said.

We kicked him out of program but obviously he's a great kid!
