D Neal would more than make up for Greenberry IMO, Starter in the slot and a Great Punt Returner. one can only hope!

There are no concrete details of what went wrong at the in-home visit but it was not a success and OSU took themselves out of the running for Neal at that point. No information on whether or not it was the father or Davonte himself that OSU had an issue with. Also, Neal wanted to commit after the in- home and OSU said no thank you. Allegedly, thisi is all coming from an inside source on the OSU side of things.

Seems conflicting. The in-home went so bad that Neal wanted to commit after, but OSU told him no? Just doesn't make sense. If the in-home was so bad why would he try to commit?

Isn't still conflicting on whether or not he really tried to commit? Only one person was reporting that, no? That and I would not put it past Urbanski to feed that to try and win over Diggs with the old "I turned down blah blah blah for you, because you are blah blah blah better." Fake cries, tells him a health condition is imminent without your commit. Blah blah blah.

Word is that Meyer wanted Neal to commit more or less and Neal said no. Urban pushed and Neal said no thanks. Urban then let Neal have it and that is that.

Sorry, I'd rather have the big, strong, Floyd type that can go up and get it. I think that's a MUCH bigger need than a slot guy.

Next two weeks is what rivals said i believe. Feb 10?? Not sure on him announcing. I do know ND is going after him 250%. Put him and Brown on the same field thats a lot of speed in the slot

I think it's before the 15th. Diggs is announcing on the 10th.
Also a gem I found on OSU's site
"I remember reading an article in the BluenGold (ND site) where Mr. Neal was quoted as saying that on the in home visit "Urban pushed really, really hard to get him to commit, but we told him no".

If this new story is true - Mr Neal is a real piece of work and it doesn't surprise me they won't be coming to OSU."

Davaris Daniels is just as equipped as DG would be and J Ferguson is MUCH MORE physical than DG, D Neal would be THE MOST EXPLOSIVE PLAYER on the entire team, from day 1. It sucks we didn't get DG, but to me, getting D Neal would be the sheeeiiiiiiiiiitttttttttt!!

So the rumor of him trying to commit and Urban telling him no is completely false? The Neal's told him no after the in-home and ultimately Urban hurt himself in the long run with Davonte. I likey.

I konw my opinion doesnt mean much ha, AND this may sound like sour grapes, but its not.... I saw Davonte play on ESPN, as well as video, and also Saw greenberry video and play in the Semper Fi game... I am WAYYY more impressed with Neal's game! I just didnt come away all that impressed with Greenberry int aht game, Granted he did tear it up at the Opening camp. I guess what im trying to say is, id LOVEEEE to get Neal!

Just took a look at Neal's Facebook page (didn't write)... But noticed a couple "likes" of Oaklahoma websites. Could be nothing , but seems to like them quite a bit

Somebody correct me if I am wrong but I thought Oklahoma was not in his top 5. Saw a tweet earlier. Said Arizona, Arkansas, ND, North Carolina and OSU.

That was before the OSU stuff started that he was not going there.
