Chris Brown is going to make everybody forget about Greenberry real fast. I have been talking this kid up for months. Complete baller. HE will be BKs Marty Gilyard and then some at ND. It is great to have an athletic huge red zone threat that catches everything in sight like Greenberry or Michael Floyd, but a WR corps full of fast, shifty guys who are electric with the ball in their hands are what make BKs offense extremely dangerous. How many underneath crossing routes did we see this year where our WRs, including floyd picked up 10-12 yards but did not have that next gear to turn the corner and take it to the house...well Chris Brown has that next gear, and the acceleration to make people look silly.

This is very true my friend. I really like Bratti also.

I don't know why fans wish him well. I think the worst thing you can do is switch teams on NSD. I don't wish him well at all. I hope he ends up on a bad Houston team and never amounts to anything and he ends up working in a car wash in Houston some day.

Amen, brotha. I don't care about his age or maturity level, what he did was flat out wrong and his Karma is coming. Spineless!

These kids don't think far into the future. So, don't blame them for all this stuff.

Good luck DGB.

Not trying to get into a direct argument with you, but I hate this mindset. Teenagers are not stupid. They understand the concept of time, and a lifelong choice. I think a lot of older people overestimate how simply they thought when they were younger. I'm not a teenager anymore (22), but I remember following recruiting when I was one and it always drove me crazy when people made a statement that "he's just being a teenager". An 18 year old is an adult, or at the very least a young man, DG knew exactly what choice he was making. Don't bail him out, understand that he made the choice and let him face the consequences of it. Some of those consequences will be felt tonight when an entire fanbase trashes (rightfully IMO) his sense of loyalty, but the vast majority of the consequences will be felt about ten years later.

Well, wishing negative Karma on someone could in turn release negative Karma onto yourself.. no? If you believe in that kind of stuff.

I wish the kid well and hope when he grows older he realizes it was a character mistake not to call Kelly and man up.

When the staff allows kids to take visits while verbally committed they leave themselves vulnerable to this situation.

You don't have to be 18 to go to jail forever.

Ok, I want to know the exact amount he received to sign with Houston. I was informed a "street agent" Baron Flenory is behind this madness. Read his twitter https://twitter.com/baronflenoryjr He's flaunting in asking if Greenberrry's the biggest Houston recruit ever. He has the same connections and ran in the same circle as Will Lyles of Oregon recruiting investigation fame.

They do serve alcohol at games. One of the few colleges I know that does that. So props Houston, props.

Any cash payments or agent talk is ridiculous. Houston does not have the boosters or football support to pull something like Oregon or Auburn. So that can stop...

What is the over/under on how many days until he realizes how big of a mistake he made today? Because that day is coming. Its one of the unfortunate side effects of throwing your life away on a whim.
I think that's a little extreme, no?

My problem with what he did is that he USED ND. He could of done the decent thing and said "...Coach, I am having alot of doubts...!" Instead he was "solid" couple of nights ago (or was it last night). No matter what age a person is...that is uncool. Just my opinion...

Naive much? This is big time college football money making business.

Yea I grew up in Houston, my best friend just graduated from UH, I attend multiple games every year, friends that I played with in high school have accepted scholarships there...

Houston Cougar football is NOT "big time college football money making business"

I couldn't disagree more.

EDIT: (See: Sumlin, Kevin)

It may only be your opinion, SouthWest but it is correct.

I completely agree. Gunner is scum.

You should use the italicized font for this part.

At least LSU could still recruit others before NSD. You forgot to add that, albeit conveniently though I'm sure.

Their backup plan was long gone, because Gunner occupied that slot for too long. Or ask Jimbo about how he felt losing Lynch. Or Paul Johnson about Tuitt.

ND steals its fair share and nobody bats an eye. People would have been ecstatic with Poole swapping and leaving Florida scrambling. Same with Westerkamp.

Its part of recruiting.

Neither did SMU

Pony Express SMU did...

SMU in those days is in no way comparable to UH of today.

Everybody making this connection because they are in Texas and relatively equal sized programs now is mislead.

SMU back then was Texas level.

UH is a commuter school!

Listen Recruiting is dirty, ND does play the game as well, some ppl disagree with this however I don't like when a kid makes these type's of moves. Just my opinion....to each their own.

So let me ask....would you guys switch Gunner for DG? In other words since Gunner pulled the same late change as DG....would you prefer that BOTH didn't do this? ....tough one.

No because Gunner switching still occurred a few weeks before signing day which allowed them to go after another QB. If DG switched a few weeks ago, we could be talking about Raph Andrades joining. I know Kiel was supposed to EE and apparently cost them an OL in the process too.

Gunner told Les Miles he wasn't coming. The other guy did not. That was the major thing for me.

Coach Kelly found out from someone other than the guy who flipped, last second. Not cool.

THIS. If I was Kelly this morning I would have raged. It appears he did looking at how red his face was at the pressed lol.
