TP, we have 17 verbal commits for this class right now. How many total do you think we end up with on NSD (or shortly thereafter, in the case of a guy like Neal)? And, if you're willing to answer, what do you think the star values will be for the additional commits? Just trying to get an idea what you're thinking without asking you to reveal too much ...

I'll make it easier for you. Pick an option. I'm not asking you to name any names.

Option 1) You believe, according to your sources, that we will pick up at least one recruit that is "better than or equal to Agholor" by or on NSD.

Option 2) As of today, you don't know what will happen on NSD, and are therefore hopeful/speculating that "ND Nation will be happy"

I think I've given you an opportunity to "clarify" using these options. When you make a statement that "ND Nation will be more than happy on NSD" IMO you are inferring that something will change from now until then that will improve our class other than someone like Standifer who is more or less a nice player but nothing to get overly excited about.

TP, I don't think I'm asking too much for you to pick one of the two options. This is the type of clarification that I and I presume others are looking for. Thanks in advance.

TP said this when it was assumed that ND would clear Armond and the Armisteads were likely ND bound. Maybe things have changed.

Neutered almost ran him off when he first started posting here by demanding to know his sources and accusing TP of pretending to information he didn't have. Seems like some of you are gearing up to run him off again.

I've followed him closely for the last two recruiting cycles, and the guy is clearly connected. His credibility remains intact. If he starts acting like Epitome, then I'll be the last one to defend him, but we're not even close to that point yet.

So cut the guy some slack. This community would not be improved by his absence.

It may be easy to ignore one comment but it's the residuals this one has specifically caused that IMO are unnecessary.

Especially when it seems it's just based on Sapp's recent info that will apparently be explained in full the night before NSD.

I appreciate and am most def interested in inside info (that is why I will be signing up for 247 this weekend) but coming on here and causing some chaos with nothing to offer is pointless.

I agree and I'm not trying to run him off, I swear. At this point it prob seems as if I'm overreacting but it's really not a big deal. I just don't see the point in leaving people dangling with a shred of info.

I'll drop it.

I'd also rather have TP being right most of the time, plus bringing good vibes to the recruiting scene all of the time, then constantly hear about the "reality" of ND's situation based on someone's personal assessment of whatever happened in the last 5 minutes (not pointed at anyone).

Whiskey nailed it. I will stand by the guy he knows what he is talking about and is in the loop. He informed me about Gunner even before it happend. So all of you can sit here and attack him all you want you. Remember you dont have to listen to him . Still can't figure out why people are going after his head.

It's not that big of a deal dude. I'm not going after his head and I will agree to drop it. I just wanted to make one point. It's over and I already love this class so anything on top is icing.

The way i see it.....

1) TP really does have some kind of inside info, that we should just take in and enjoy the next few days of excitment of what could possibly happen ( without bothering him)

or

2) TP really didnt know, or things changed in the meantime since he has heard, and then come signing day we just sit back and enjoy the great class that we have still put together!!!!

Win Win as far as i am concerned..... JMO tho

To be fair, if someone wants to consider themselves an "insider" and posts information that he wants you to consider as such, then they should understand that there are two sides of the coin. If you want everyone to consider you this recruiting jedi master, then you have to suck it up and tell people when you are wrong instead of leaving everyone hanging. I don't think that TP deserves the interrogation that he has been receiving, but throwing up very specific information (like "we are getting someone better than Agholar") and then just going silent or playing dumb when it looks inevitable that it isn't going to happen, doesn't fly. Epitome got ran off of this board for that exact reason.
