of all the pics u pick an almost naked magic. hmmmmmmmmmmmm
No one is trumpeting anything. Poole flipping has legs. Rumor is that he did not enjoy his OV to Florida as much as he expected. His parents are both in ND's corner. He said the visit with Alford was the "best yet." Kelly has an in-home this week. Alford is keeping the pressure on. This is textbook flipping procedure.
Just have to make Brian believe it.
needless to say i feel a lot better about landing poole than i do getting darby back although both would be phenomenal!!!
For Under Armour All-American defensive back Brian Poole (Bradenton, Fla./Southeast), the decision-making process is over – as he has been verbally committed to the Gators since last summer. Now, the 5-foot-10, 195-pound cornerback has a vested interest in making sure UF signs the best recruiting class possible when pen meets paper on Feb. 1. After a big visit weekend on campus in Gainesville, Poole feels good about the direction of this class moving forward for Florida.
I am not doubting that there is a rumor that his OV didn't go well, but how does that even happen? Especially for a kid that is already committed to that school? Were they showing too much love to Howard instead of him? Everything written publicly is pro-gator, like this:
Just curious where the rumor is coming from?
I second that. Especially after Yuri's twitter meltdown.
We gotta have another solid CB in this class.
And for the record...In my opinion...we're not getting Darby back. I've moved on emotionally...
Paid reporters who talk to his family
Gotcha. From reading Florida boards it does seem like they are a little concerned about the way his dad talks but it is not out in the open that much because Brian continues to say he is all gator and isn't going anywhere. Lets see how much pull mom and dad have...
sounds very similar to how darby played his recruitment doesn't it?
Your signature is dope!no, he said he was solid to ND a couple times, even a couple weeks before he decommitted.

Darby has already visited Notre Dame and Maryland and is unsure if he’ll go on anymore officials. For now, he remains committed to Notre Dame but has not closed the door entirely on other schools.
“The interest is good. I really like (Auburn). I was just going to really check it out,” he said.
“...The thought will still probably be there a little bit, but I’m still decided on where I’m going. The closer and closer it gets you have to really make sure that’s the place you really want to be.”
Ermann asked Darby about his status following the trip to Byrd Stadium.
"Yeah," he replied in reference to whether he was still committed to the Irish, "as of right now."
If we land darby it will just be a added bonus... Is Yuri out of the picture?
Does us possibly landing Poole's commitment hurt our chances with Darby?
Do we take both if they want to come?
We would obviously take both if they wanted to come, it would be really stupid if we didn't. But I think if Pool joins then we are completely out of it with Darby, which I am fine with
My gut tells me we aren't in it for either of them.
But my heart tells me there is a reason why Poole keeps hosting coaches......

I'm kinda feeling the same way...I mean, you never know, but Darby doesn't give me the feeling he's coming back, and Poole seems to love UF.
And we need another CB. Like This fat lady I work with needs a treadmill. We call her "The Nancy".
Don't forget about Standifer.
We need a Poole/ Darby/ Wright and Standifer. Two more CBs puts us at 7/8 for 2012.
From what I hear about Standifer, he lacks speed and explosiveness...Maybe better suited as a safety.
mainly due to the level of competition he plays against and infrequent appearances in the 7-on-7 tournaments. It's not that simple. He runs a 4.6 40, a 4.4 shuttle, and has a 30'' vertical; those are better combine numbers than Tee Shepard produced. He lacks a 4thmainly due to the level of competition he plays against and infrequent appearances in the 7-on-7 tournaments.
