I dont think so. Ohio State, PSU, ND battle right now it seems. Maryland being a dark horse.

The O'Brien hire certainly doesn't hurt their chances, but you have to like what ND has consistently done with their TEs. If this kid has aspirations of playing at the next level then you have to figure ND is a serious contender here.

Adam knows he is ND number 1 target. And he realizes that we didnt take anyone this year cause we promised Adam he is our number 1 target. Hence the reason Taylor McNarma wasn't offered. He knows Carlson, Fasono, Rudolph and soon to be Eifert. Also Chuck Martin wants to use multiple tight end sets and split him out wide. We will be a major play with Adam's recruitment.

I'm sure they'll put together a decent sales pitch, but Happy Valley is radioactive right now. I just can't see them winning any competitive recruiting battles until the cloud of recent event passes.

My bad. You're right that he's probably referring to Miami. Didn't spring to mind since I can't see them being a serious player for him.

I think ND has a good chance of getting Breneman. The thing that isnt going into PSU favors are the Sandusky Scandal, New Head Coach with no experience as a Head Coach replacing Joe Paterno, not successfully recruiting the State of PA for almost five years and overrated academics. I think the longer it goes the better for Notre Dame.
