100% following Tosh to Washington per ISD.

Cal's class is about to fall apart if Arik comes to ND. Would be awesome to swoop up Payton or Treggs as well. Don't believe this Goodman 5th year thing is a lock at all.

I read earlier that it's going to come down to Cal and UW with UCLA with an outside chance.

Sapp just wrote that if we land the armsteads we will be in position to make a strong push at shaq. Can't tell if he is speculating or has sources

When saying your prayers for the Armsteads, please now include some for Shaq. Please.

When Sapp speaks people need to listen.

Now see this kind of stuff just gets me excited and that's really unfortunate because we're not going to get him. (I got 2k12 on your recommendation btw and it's addicting as hell. Way harder than 2k11 though.)

No surprise.

I do have a problem with kids choosing schools solely based on the coaches (especially one that's not even his position coach).

With that said, I hope UW tears up the Pac12 for years to come.

True that. More needs to be paid attention to the school and the surroundings given that a coach has about 3-5 years to win a title or violate NCAA rules, and then he's gone.

Ask Taylor Mays about following a coach......Coaches have no loyalty to players or a school.

reading the tea leaves of GB and TP i think we got a real good shot.
If we get the Armsteads up front and Tee,Darby,Shaq, and Shumate in the back. I will party like it is 1993 again on NSD!

Don't buy the champagne quite yet...

Maybe some Natty Ice if we snag the Armsteads

Maybe some Mad Dog 20/20 if we reel Darby back in.

Shaq isn't coming here....

Man, I would love to have him. I wish Kelly would go and make one last pitch to him! This guy truly stood out during the UA Game!

I certainly agree if the decision is based solely on coaches. But let's not forget that the relationships that recruiters establish with recruits also works in our favor. Think no further than Tony Alford and Aaron Lynch. Yeah, Aaron had other reasons to be interested in ND, but Alford was a huge variable in his recruitment and ultimate commitment (even though he's not Aaron's position coach). I doubt we would have secured Aaron's commitment had Alford left the second week of last January.

Justin Hopkins is reporting that UCLA has made a late surge for Shaq and that right now UW and Cal are the long shots. Some poster made mentioned that he heard that Shaq wants out of the Bay Area completely.

Also said this:

"Thompson changes daily. So if that's what he said to Joe Davidson earlier this week, it's very different now.

I hear Cal has ground to make up. But he has until Wednesday, plus what Arik does will have some impact IMO."

In reference to someone saying UCLA was out of it.
