I thought this might be a fun/interesting thread. The other day I was talking with some friends and we joked about how since a friend of ours is attending a rival college for basketball they might "revoke our tickets and student ID's" for cheering against our school for our friend to do well. I got to thinking that there might be some aspects of our sports fandom that might not be favorable to the ND fan in us. Some might call it guilty pleasures or whatever but its a long time till the bowl thought this might be fun. My un-ND things im guilty of are....
1. My football idol is John Elway....a graduate of our rival the standford cardinal is the only reason I ever followed pro-football closely which made me interested in coll. football which made me a fan of ND like every good young cathoilic boy should be

2. When I was i high school my dream was to play for Notre Dame above all else. But if I couldnt make it to Notre Dame my second dream was to play under....Joe Paterno. Thats right I wanted to play for Joe Pa who seems to be a hated man by most of my fellow ND fans.
3. This one might actually get me kicked out for real. I have never been able to go to an ND home game but my cousin used to attend Purdue and I did see a Purdue home game once and while i want Purdue to get demolishe dby the Irish theyre one of the only teams in the Big Ten I follow because I dont care for the Big Ten.
Now if I havent become more hated than I already am to some on these boards when I make my sky is fallin posts after bad games and much negativaty from friends who hate my teams and after much hard liquor and beer are there any things like that my fellow ND fans have that they might not wanna hide or jsut get off their chest.
