This is great news! It will definitely add some much needed depth in the RB position assuming he is not going to play a slot receiver..There will always be a place for a smart kid with a 4.43 40. However, my concern now is we have one less scholarship to offer this year despite him not being eligible until 2013.

Kelly Diaco and Alford the recruiters so great that even a signed LOI is just a set back.
To those worried about scholarships left-this is still a no brainer-Notre dame in a real spread offense needs rbs/slots that can fly-and he can-all that needs to be said. If we dont get any more recruits in this years class, the recruiting class on paper is very, very, very, strong now. I still want 2 Armsteads and then call it good! Anything else would be gravy.
