Well, this does suck. Did not see this coming. That being said, with the D we've been developing combined with the open spigot of talent still streaming it, I'll take our chances against just about anyone. Getting close to an era of defensive domination for ND!

I just don't see why people are worried. This Stanford team is NOT going to continue to be dominant without Harbaugh in the long run... remember, they're losing 3 top 10 NFL picks this year...

Martin, Luck and who is the third? Decastro? He's a guard more like a top 25 pick. But I hear what you are saying.

My prediction is that they will go back to being what they were, except when they play USC, then they will be what they are now. So, they will be what they were and what they are now, but not at the same time. Sometimes they will be what they are now. However, the majority of the time, they will be what they were.

So if they play USC in the future, will they then play like what they were? Or will they play like they are? Speaking about the present, of course. Not about the future, which would be like they are.

The Cardinal will return to who WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.

No, no, no. You have it all wrong, they will play like they are, not what they were. Also, your statements are confusing. You need to keep it simple like I did.

I think Stanford is a good decision for him. If he chose OSU, he would have to deal with some ridiculous hype and probably unrealistic expectations. If he chose another Big XII school, he would have to deal with all the "backstabbing" vitriol comments for the next several years. Going to a place like Alabama would be a combination of the above. At Stanford, he can live and play in relative anonymity for a few years. Most people on campus won't even know who he is...or care.

Sidenote: I think BS Jr., is a nice player, but if he didn't share the name and bloodline of his father, he wouldn't be ranked as high on the running back list.

I agree with all of your points except the one about his ranking. I think that he deserves to be ranked where is because he is a talented RB. He isn't a 5 star on any board but a consistent 4 star that is ranked as the #5-10 back on the different sites. Watching his film, the kid is electric.

Don't get me wrong-- I don't think he's some Michael Bolton-no-talent-@ss-clown...but if his name weren't Barry Sanders, I think we're talking about a top 10-20 RB, not a top 5-10 RB.

But that's just my opinion. I have certainly been wrong before.

I completely disagree with you. He is ranked right where he should be and is a very explosive back.

Deion Sanders Jr. is ranked as a 2*, so i don't think the services take to much into account who there father is.

What a flippin idiot!

Either he isnt good enough to start (which leads to what makes him think he will be pro)

or

He is confident that he is pro that he doesnt need one of the nations best degrees.

Either way flippin idiot

lol

Or he will have a degree from Stanford and have a chance to put up some video game numbers at his dad's alma mater and improve his stock, ala Russel Wilson.

Smart kid.

So what makes you think if he is pro material that he couldnt put up numbers at Stanford which runs a pro style offense as opposed to an offense not ran in the pros? Now that Hogan is gone, you have to assume it will be more run oriented due to breaking in a new qb. Hogans backup threw a total of 9 passes last year. And with McCaffrey gone, he should be the main dude now.

Lmfao you are the idiot. He will be a fifth year transfer. So he would already have has his degree from Stanford. Now he will be a starter at his dad's school and he doesn't have to sit behind McCafrey and other talented backs at Stanford.

Think before you post.

Once again you look like the idiot. McCaffrey isn't gone. Sanders would see like two touches a game. McCaffrey, Wright and other talented backs on that team. He clearly has a better chance at playing time at OSU.

Once again please think before you post.

Oh my lord, it got worse.

Now we just wait for you to swear this was all sarcasm and you were joking.
